Tangled up in Christmas Day 8: Snowy Shaker Card

tangledinxmas

Hi Everyone, Chari here with Day 9 of Tangled up in Christmas.  Today I have a fun shaker card to share using a few Neat & Tangled sets.

NorthPoleShaker

I stamped the tree from Little Bear twice on green card stock and cut them out, I colored one with a green marker to vary the color slightly.  The north pole sign and pole are white card stock colored with copics.  I always have issues with my shaker material sticking to things inside but in this case I think it looks like the snow sticking to the trees and sign. :) For the frame I used a spellbinders die for the scalloped circle and then a smaller circle die to cut out the inside.  I used glossy accents and peppermint lawn trimmings twine to accent my frame and stamped out the presents from Elves at Work to create a tone on tone custom pattern background.

  3. What did you use to keep the glitter inside
the shaker card? Can see that it is not
    vellum.

    1. It's clear acetate & a die cut frame of craft foam that holds the glitter inside.

  4. Adorable shaker card! I've been seeing(and using)non-traditional colors for holiday cards...the red, white and green are refreshing!
