Awardsies!

I know, awardsies isn't a word but it sounds fun, doesn't it?

I actually received the Liebster Award twice from both Chari and Cara.  Thank you ladies so much! What an honor :o)  Be sure to check out both of their blogs because they are fabulous.

Liebster is German for 'dearest'. The award is a 'share the love' arrangement, given to inspirational bloggers with less than 200 followers. And here is what a Liebster Award recipient must do:

1. Thank the giver and link back to their blog
2. Reveal you five blogger picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog (see above)
4. Hope that those you award forward it to their favorite bloggers.

So here are my five picks for passing this award along (so hard to pick 5!)

Steph (So talented!)
Denise (I WISH I could do shabby/vintage like her!)
Jess (Amazing with CAS style)
Jess (Great DIY Blogger!)
Steph (Always has really fun cards and an amazing scrapper too!

If you've never visited these blogs be sure to stop by! They are all so talented and I am always inspired by their work.

Be sure to stop back tomorrow for a little giveaway :o)

Adventure Is Out There

Monday again?  Why must the weekends go by so fast!  Ours was a little busy, but good. Every weekend I say I'm going to catch up on my million mile long to do list and yet I never do. Does anyone else have this problem?

Today's card is probably one of my favorites.  One of my absolute favorite movies is Up. Yes, I cry several times during the movie every time I watch it. How can you not? G also loves this movie and asks to watch it almost every day.  He has seen it so many times he can actually almost repeat it verbatim. One of his favorite things to say (at any given moment), is "Adventure is out there!"...and he always says it with such gusto. Very cute.  Needless to say, he inspired this card.

Getting Started Guide Week 5: Ink

It's Friday so you know what that means...a video!

This week it's all about inks and I have 2 videos for you. The first one covers all the types of ink. The second video is VERY mini tutorial dedicated to Distress Inks.

Here is the card, videos are below them, and all supplies are at the very end as thumbnails. I'm entering this into the current Lawnscaping Challenge which is Distress Mania.

*In the video I mention that Versafine Onyx Black is a dye ink, but I lied. It's an oil-based pigment ink!*

Sweet

Thursday...I've almost made it through the week! Wahoo!

Just popping in to share a quick card. This is one of those card that I'm not even sure I like lol. I made it a while ago, but am just sharing it now (because truth be told I haven't stepped foot in my room to make anything in like 2 weeks - if you talk to the crafty gods please tell them I need my mojo back!)
