A Fond Farewell

As we come to the end of another year, we are, unfortunately, saying goodbye to some treasured teammates, May and Yana.

We wanted to send them off in style and showcase some of their (and our) favorite Neat & Tangled projects.

Here's just a hint of the amazing work that May has created for us (click on the photo to go to the original post):

We're so thankful for May, and while she is stepping down from the team, you'll still be seeing her around here from time to time.  ;)  Be sure to follow May on her social media sites:

We are also losing Yana, she has been with Neat & Tangled for so long, and it's so hard to see her go.  Here are some of her favorite cards for N&T:

You'll miss her as much as we will won't you?  Be sure to follow Yana here:

A huge thank you to May and Yana for all their hard work and inspiration.  We're sad to see them go, but we know there are great things in store for them and we'll be cheering them on.

A new year means new beginnings, come back tomorrow as we introduce the 2016 Design Team.

From Me to You

I can't believe that 2015 is wrapping up!  Where has the year gone?  I'm back with a quick card trio that I'll use for Happy New Year cards:

During the holidays, we're all busy trying to get a ton of stuff done so why not make things a bit easier?  I'm a big fan of purchasing ready made bases.  This really does makes things quick for me.  For today's trio, I die cut the Heart of Gold with gold glitter cardstock.

I wanted to add a simple sentiment so I used the From Me To You from the Happy Holidays stamp set.

I love using the unexpected pop of green for the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stoppin' by today...and happy Eve to New Years Eve!

Video : How to Make an Encouragement Card with Die Cut Sentiment

Hi, crafty friends! It's May here shring my very last post as a design team member for Neat and Tangled. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time being on the design team for one year. Thank you so much Danielle and all the girls who are and have been on the DT, I had a blast!

So today I decided to do a farewell post with my favorite cards that I made for Neat and Tangled in 2015. Without further ado, in no particular order, here are my Top 9 favorite cards:

My Top 9 Favorite Cards of Neat and Tangled
If you want more details of any of these projects, please click the links above. You can also find all of my Neat and Tangled projects HERE.

I've also designed 5 stamp sets for Neat and Tangled in 2015, and you can find them all HERE: May's Stamp Sets. And my 6th stamp set will be introduced at CHA 2016. So a huge THANKS to Danielle who gave me all sorts of wonderful opportunities.

For today's card, I wanted to express what I've learnt throughout the year or something I want to keep in mind for next year. I know I can't do everything, but I can do anything. You Can Do Anything! Saying this sentiment makes me feel encouraged for some reason, and I hope it does to you, too.

How to Make a Encouragement Card with Die Cut Sentiment
  1. Die cut the sentiment from You Can Do Anything die out of gold mirror paper.
  2. Adhere the die cut temperary on the middle of card front as a guide.
  3. Stamp the images from Dala Horse with  Memento Tuxedo black ink.
  4. Color in the images with Copic markers.
  5. Mount the die cut sentiment on the card front using foam adhesive.
Here is a video showing you how I created my card. You can watch it here or in HD on YouTube.

3 Ways to Add Dimension to Your Die Cut Sentiment

In the video, I used foam adhesive to add dimension to my die cut sentiment. But there are a couple of other ways you can make your sentiment pop up. You can die cut the sentiment a few times and stack them together to make it thick.

Or you can die cut the white craft fun foam and adhere it with the die cut sentiment. Learn more about these tips on the following videos: Adding Dimension and Word Die Cut.

I have a special GIVEAWAY on my blog for you all as my appreciation for your love, kindness, and support. For a chance to win a stamp set of your choice, please leave a comment HERE.

Well, that’s all I have today. I hope you enjoyed my card and got some inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by and wish you a Happy New Year!

Hello everybody ! Amandine here, I am delighted to see you for Christmas !

Today I present you a card made with the set bright baubles !

For this card, I wanted a very colorful Christmas tree, and my distress associated with glossy accent gave me the perfect effect!

It is a very simple card, but a card full of life I find when viewed! What do you think ?

Hoping that this card inspires a last minute idea if you do not have a map on hand to offer! I'll see you tomorrow for another card to offer and I can not wait to unveil!

And if you ever celebrate Christmas tonight, I wish you all a very good Christmas Eve!
