Trick or treat!

Hello there!

Mayuri here to share a halloween themed card today - I used some images from the Creepy Cute and Creep Cute Shadows and Sentiments sets to create this shaker card ;-)

I began by sponging some Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress Inks on to a card base and then sprinkling with water to create some interest. I set this aside to dry while I worked on the shaker element.

I then die-cut a circle from some black cardstock, which was slightly smaller than the card base. I adhered a piece of clear packaging from some stamp sets over the aperture and then lined the edges of the circle with some foam tape. This creates the space to hold the Spooktacular sequins.

I dropped the sequins on to the Distress Inked area of the card base before foam mounting the black panel. The sequins are sealed between the aperture and the card base, and the foam tape stops them from falling out.

The bat was heat embossed in white on some black cardstock and fussy cut out. The sentiment was stamped on some orange patterned paper - I also stamped the banner image around the sentiment, and trimmed that out too. These were then foam mounted to the card.

Finally, I sprinkled a few more sequins from the Spooktacular mix on to the card front ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!
