Mellow Yellow for Jay Gee's Nook

HAPPY FRIDAY! And Happy Long Weekend!

This week flew by for me (hope it did for you too). We don't have any real plans for this weekend besides relaxing and working on a few projects around the house.  I'm in the midst of making new curtains for G's room.  I keep procrastinating and have had 4 1/2 yards of fabric spread out on my craft room floor for about 2 weeks now. I think it's time for me to just do it!

Here is a little card I made for the current Jay Gee's  Nook Challenge.

Yellow is such a great color, and I love it paired with gray. I broke out my favorite background stamp and dies and got to work. I rarely use stickers, but I do really love Thickers. They make it so easy to add a sentiment. I have a whole drawer full but never use them. (There I go hoarding again, surprise!)

Just about 7 weeks until baby is due, and I have to say I'm in a bit of a panic.  I feel like I have so much I want to do before he gets here, not to mention the overwhelming guilt I feel about how much little G's life is going to change. I hope he doesn't hate me forever.

  2. Yellow hearts are unexpected, but they really work on your card with the dark sentiment. The background stamp is a perfect complement to the overall design, too.

  3. Love this design Danielle - the whole card kind of has a groovy feel to it with the paisley and colours :) LOL, little G will be fine, just involve him as much as possible and he will love the new baby.
