Naughty or Nice Card

Hi friends!

Danielle here with a fun card for the holidays! I used one of my personal favorite sets, Santa's Notes. This one came together very quickly. I layered some fun patterned paper in different sizes, and did a little stitching. I stamped the "Naughty/Nice/Undecided" stamp and cut it out to a rounded rectangle shape. Then to finish it off I added some wood veneers and red rhinestones!

1 down, 74 to go! Haha! How are you're holiday cards coming along? :)

Tangled Up in Christmas: Christmas Eve!

Danielle here, and yikes! It's Christmas Eve! I still feel like kid, I get so excited I have trouble sleeping! Good thing I have 1028 presents that still need wrapping to give me something to do ;)

I have another special card to share with you today from my lovely friend, Laurie from Soapbox Creations.  I thought this was a perfect card to share with you today, because, you know, Santa's getting all ready to leave the North Pole ;)




Well, I am off to bake some cookies with my littles for the Big Guy tonight!

Tangled up in Christmas: Day 20- stamped gift package

Hey! Kasia here with another Tangled up in Christmas idea! I'm challenging myself this year with brown packing paper as the only gift wrap and today I want to show you idea how to make it a bit cuter!You will need only some brown paper, washi tape and of course Neat and Tangled lovely stamps to pack your gifts with a little twist!

Wrap your gift in the paper and secure it with washi tape- I got mine from IKEA this year and it was really inexpensive- perfect for wrapping stuff! 

On the place where tapes cross each other place a stamped image. I really like the look of stamps from Santa's Note and of course Do not Open placed in there! Than if you wish scatter some stamped snowflakes or stars on the package for more detailed look.

I really like gifts packed this way, they work as a cute decoration too! To be honest I don't even want to open them now! :) Wishing you bright and merry days in this final countdown till Christmas! :)

Tangled up in Christmas: Day 17

Hello everyone!  It's Amy here with Day 17 of Tangled up in Christmas!

So, we're in to the last week before Christmas........anyone else scramble to need just a tiny little "something" for someone on your list?  I know I do and I have the quickest little packaging idea for gifting some of those yummy Ghirardelli chocolates!  (My personal favorite is the Sea Salt Soiree but that's a whole other topic!)

Here I've used those tiny snowflake stamps from Santa's Notes to stamp a bag topper.  I adorned the topper with a baker's twine bow!  Easy peasy!

Tangled Up in Christmas Day 14: Treat Bags

Good morning friends,

Do you give edible treats and baked goods for the holiday? I certainly do, and I am always looking for crafty ways to help dress up my treats.   I want to share with you today how I used my Neat and Tangled stamps to create a holiday house from a small kraft coffee bag. I usually opt for the bags that are lines with the plastic coating to keep any oils from the baked treats from marring the outside of the bag.

I used the scallop rows from Little Tangles to create the roof and trimmed it with the peppermint from Santa's Notes. The peppermint fits perfectly inside a 1/2" circle punch. 

I re-purposed the gifts from Elves at Work as windows along with the Santa's Workshop sign. The north pole from Santa's Notes became the door frame and some gum drops from Hey Cookie accent the snowdrift landscape.

Your bag is now ready for whatever yummy treats you plan to place inside. Happy Baking!

Tangled up in Christmas Day 8: Snowy Shaker Card

Hi Everyone, Chari here with Day 9 of Tangled up in Christmas.  Today I have a fun shaker card to share using a few Neat & Tangled sets.

I stamped the tree from Little Bear twice on green card stock and cut them out, I colored one with a green marker to vary the color slightly.  The north pole sign and pole are white card stock colored with copics.  I always have issues with my shaker material sticking to things inside but in this case I think it looks like the snow sticking to the trees and sign. :) For the frame I used a spellbinders die for the scalloped circle and then a smaller circle die to cut out the inside.  I used glossy accents and peppermint lawn trimmings twine to accent my frame and stamped out the presents from Elves at Work to create a tone on tone custom pattern background.

Tangled up in Christmas: Day 5- Merry and Bright!

  

Hello!

Katie Gehring here with a card that is both merry and bright, with the emphasis on the bright!  I have always been drawn to non-traditional holiday colors and standing in line at Old Navy for 3 hours on Black Friday  gave me an idea for a super saturated, non traditional color scheme: Red, Orange, Hot Pink and Green.

I started by stamping and embossing a few trees from Sweet Home in Versamark Ink on Orange and Raspberry cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. I cut out the trees and adhered to a panel of red cardstock that I grounded with a snowbank.

For the title, I dug into my horde of Thickers, adding a pop of pink behind the "and" to carry the tree color up.  I mounted the tag, slightly offset onto an identical tag that I covered with green polka dot washi tape. Some red and white baker's twine and a few snowflakes from Santa's Notes embossed with white embossing powder finished off the panel which was then mounted onto a white cardstock base.

So what on earth was I standing in line for at Old Navy for 3+ hours?  I asked myself that question many times during the wait, but once I was an hour in, there was no way I was backing down.  $5 Polar Fleece for the family and adora-boots for the girls.  The lengths we go to for a good holiday deal....sigh....

Advent Calendar with Santa's Notes stamps

Hey! It's Kasia here with little Christmas inspiration for you! A while ago I decided to make my own Advent Calendar for this holiday season and I'd love to show you my finish project today!

It's really simple project- just bunch of tiny paper bags with some paint, tags and washi on them,  but what makes it spark in my opinion are all the little details which come from stamps!

I used Neat and Tangled Santa's Notes set which is full of cute little elements perfect for filling up white space on my calendar's bags- snowflakes, little stars and symbols made a great job here!

I used black ink and stamped few times without re-inking the stamp- thanks to that the images came out a bit imperfect and chaotic with different intensity- I really like this effect on my projects!

I also used the small swirly sweet image from the set and painted it with some watercolor pencils- another cute and quick detail which I totally adore! I've used this stamp on most of my Christmas projects this year :)

We put some sweet surprises in them as well as some fun activities to do together while waiting for Santa to come ;)
