I can hardly believe 2018 is just days away, and so is our first release for the year! Our January release will begin Monday, January 1st at 8am EST. It will be a week filled with inspiration, fun and giveaways!
But for now I'll leave you with some sneak peeks! We've got new stamps, dies, stencils and sequins!
Hi Everyone! As we look forward to 2018 (next week!!!), we have a couple Design Team changes to let you know about.
First we're saying goodbye to Stephanie in 2018. We're sad to see her go, but it's a busy season in her life and we wish her well. Stephanie provided us with so much gorgeous inspiration this year! Here are some of our favorites (click on the photo to be taken to the original link):
Happily Mayuri will be stepping back into a full time role for us in 2018. We're thrilled that she's able to take on a larger role in the coming year and we know you will be too! Here are just a few of the projects that she shared this year, we're so glad we're going to be seeing a lot more in the coming year (photos are clickable)!
We're very much looking forward to 2018, including our first release - next week! Come back tomorrow to get a sneak peek at 2018's first products!
Merry Christmas to you and your families! I prepared a super cozy winter card for you today.
I can't stop using kraft and white combo, and this time used a piece of wood paper (yeah peice of real thin wood).
I choose big bold sentiment from the Hello Winter stamp set to heat emboss it on a wood paper. I made it with white and silver glitter embossing powder.
For the background I stamped various images from Perfect blend stamp set that reminds me of hot cup of cocoa or coffee.
And finally I added gold glitter dots all over the background with Stickles.
Hope you are having cozy Christmas holidays and got the best presents from Santa ;)
Daria here and if you stoped by today, I want to wish you a magical holiday season, as well as to share a couple of cards.
Here, in Russia, we mostly celebrate Orthodox Christmas that is on a January 7th. First comes the New Years. I made two cards for this still upcoming celebration.
I love all kinds of star nights backgrounds. So, I made one like Northern Lights using Landscape duo stencils.
I overlapped them many times, and applied differed distress inks starting from the lightest to darkest. To mimic stars and snow, I used glitter stickles.
My second card features Warm Winter Scene Cover plate. That is one of my favorites from the 2017.
Quick tip: I didn't have time to inlay all those little pieces of windows, so I just glued my starry houses on top of the white ones.
Are you all done or is one last trip to the store needed?
I'll definitely be running out. Whenever I think I'm done there's always that one thing I forgot...
I was inspired to get out the Holiday Baking set because my little peanut and I will be making cookies for Santa tonight. A little last minute?
Maybe, but honestly if we made them earlier Santa wouldn't get any cookies!
I wanted to try watercoloring on Bristol paper. This came about for two reasons. I bought a whole pad back when I wanted to try them with Zig Clean Color Markers and I ran out of watercolor paper.
Maybe Santa will bring me some?
You can see how the card came together in the video below.
What do you think?
If you're a wet on wet watercolorist then I think it'll work fine.
If you're a wet on dry watercolorist stick with the watercolor paper lol
