Introducing December Guest Designer Heather Meeson

Hi friends!  We're excited to be introducing our guest designer for the month, Heather Meeson.

Heather, who lives in Colorado, has been working behind-the-scenes in the craft industry for years, designing and developing products. She spends her free time with paper and ink, battling altitude in an attempt to make the perfect macaron, and traveling whenever she can.  And take a look at what she created for us today:

When a holiday rolls around (any holiday, all the holidays) putting together a few small treats for some of the kiddos I know is always a highlight and making homemade tags has developed into a bit of a tradition. This year I’m using Get Yeti.

While black may not be the first color you think of for Christmas, pairing it with red and white is my go-to color palette for the holidays. I like the way it makes a more traditional red and white “peppermint” look really pop.

While each tag is a little different, the sled and other images were all colored with the same colors, making mass production easy peasy.

Before assembling, I splattered a little white acrylic paint on the background for a snowy effect.
