Grateful Heart Thank You with Cheiron

Hi there crafty friends, it's Cheiron here and today I have a card for you using the Grateful Heart stamps and dies. It's a quick and easy card, with some quick Copic coloring on the flowers and a Distress Ink panel as the background.

I blended Tea Dye Distress Ink onto a panel of Distress Watercolor cardstock, and also splattered some Tea Dye Ink mixed with water onto the panel. Once it was dry, I stamped the sentiment.

I stamped the flowers onto a piece of Neenah cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers, then adhered them to the panel with foam tape. Super quick and easy and reminded myself that coloring and cutting a ton of these flowers would be great to have on hand for future cards!

Hello everyone! It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop and today I'm going to share how simple it is to Mix your Stamps to create your Holiday Cards. 

I'm using This adorable little Cow from the Barnyard Buddies Stamp Set, The hat from the Santa's Wonderland Stamp Set and the Sentiment from the Classic Christmas Stamp Set.

I've also used some Distress Oxides to create my Sky. I used Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers.

Copic Coloring with Mindy Baxter - Coloring a Penguin

Hi there, it's Mindy from My Creative Scoop and today I'm sharing a tutorial on how to color this adorable stamp from the Santa's Wonderland Stamp Set.

I stamped my images with Memento Black Ink and Stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card using my Misti. 

I used my Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink to create my background and my white gel pen and white ink pad to create my snow. 

All of the penguins are colored with the exact same color combo, minus the hat. Here's a list of the Copics I used.

N0, N1, N3, N5, N9, R32, R30, YR14, YR12

The hat color combos are: BG11, BG13, BG18, R32, R30, E13, YG67, YG63, YG61

Hi friends! It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop and today I'm sharing this Copic Marker Video Tutorial using the new release! This stamp set is called Grateful Heart. Isn't it gorgeous in this blue and yellow shade!

Jump For Joy with Action Wobbles

Action Wobbles are little, self-adhesive plastic springs for paper-crafting projects and they pair perfectly with the Neat & Tangled Jump For Joy set!

How fun is it to add a little interactive movement to these adorable jumping critters?! After coloring and die cutting my critters, I mounted them to a card with the trampoline stamped off the edge. For the bunny & hedgehog I used foam tape and for the little squirrel, I used a mini action wobble.

A few tips for using Action Wobbles...

• Reinforce the die cut you want to wobble with a few extra layers. For my little blue squirrel, I adhered 2 plain cardstock die cuts to my colored squirrel to add strength and keep the edges from getting roughed up when wobbling.
• Trim the edges of the wobble spring to fit die cuts. That blue squirrel is a little guy so I cut the spring down just a bit before adhering.
• I have the best results putting the "thin" plastic side of the wobble to my die cut and the "thick" plastic to my card. It seems to shake a little more that way. Just make sure to press that wobble onto the card and secure that adhesive before wobbling.

Neat and Tangled Cake Video Tutorial with Copic Markers

Today I'm going to share how to color this piece of cake stamp from  and how to get the different textures of the smooth surface of the icing and the fluffy part of the cake. I wanted to use pinks to create this strawberry cake since Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

Copic Marker Video Tutorial - Coloring a Snowman

Hello everyone, it's Mindy from My Creative Scoop and I'm back with another Copic Marker Video tutorial to share with you.

This month I'm using one of my favorite sets from Neat and Tangled, Santa's Wonderland. I've stamped my image on Copic Xpress it Blending Card using Black Memento Ink.

I cut out a circle using a circle die and used the negative part to sponged the circle onto my card base using my Stormy Sky and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink pads. Then I took the circle I cut out and trimmed a piece from the top and the bottom in a wavy pattern to create a snow effect. I popped up the 'snow' on some foam dots for some extra dimension.

Now for the coloring. Here's a list of Copic Markers I'm using in the video tutorial.

C0, C2, C4, B000, B00, B95, G82, G85, R35, R37, R39, N5, N1

Video Tutorial - Coloring Hair using Copic Markers with Mindy Baxter

Hi there everyone! It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop, and I have another Copic Marker Tutorial to share with you all!  I am using the stamp set Mermazing and also it's coordinating Mermazing Nice and Neat Dies. I just had to pair this mermaid up with the new Hello Summer Stamp Set and Hello Summer Die Set. I seriously cannot get enough of these layering script dies. I LOVE them! 

One of the most popular questions I get asked when coloring with Copic is coloring hair. So many people struggle coloring hair and I think it's one of the funnest parts to color. The trick to coloring hair is, to leave white in between the the strands so you can have natural looking highlights. 

In the video I'm showing you the simplest way to color blonde hair and still getting so much texture -- and it literally takes me just a few minutes. Of course you can spend a little longer on your hair and get a 'neater' look if that's the look you're going for -- but quick and easy is always great, too. Plus, it's way less intimidating! 

I'm coloring using E40, E41, E42 E43 and E44. You can do this exactly the way I'm coloring using ANY coordinating color combo. I also have tons of Hair Tutorials over on My Creative Scoop, that you can check out!

The background was super fun to make, I'm using my Neat and Tangled Hexastar Stencil and Nuvo Plum Glitter Paste!

Neat and Tangled Texture VS Smooth Coloring - Copic Marker Tutorial by Mindy Baxter

Hello! It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop and I'm back with another Copic Marker tutorial for Neat and Tangled. Today I'm going to be sharing how to color this adorable monster from the Little Monster stamp set. 

I'm going to share with you how to color this little guy with a smooth gradient and also with a furry texture. 

Here's the Copic Marker list of what I'm using and as always you can substitute different colors based on what you currently own. Just try to replace the same amount of colors.

I stamped my image in Memento Black ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card. I used the Little Monster Nice and Neat Dies to cut out m image, too!

BG72, BG11, BG10, R32, R30, N5, Y28, Y26, Y21, R35 and R39 is what I'll be using.

Video Tutorial: Practice Blending your Copic Markers and Create Projects with your Scraps

Hi everyone! It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop. I'm back with another video tutorial to share with you. I'm really excited about showing you how I made this card. 

I'm using Hello Spring Stamp Set and the Hello Spring Nice and Neat Die Set. I also am using the Friendly Floral Stamp Set. I'm also using the Sherbet Sequins for the finishing touches on my card.

In the video I'm using Copic Xpress it Blending Card, Memento Desert Sand Ink, Clear Embossing Powder and here's the list of Copic Markers I'm using.

BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10, YR15, YR20, E55, YG63 and G20

Remember you can always substitute for colors that you have. Just make sure you're using coordinating colors and if you can the same amount of colors.

Creating Backgrounds for your Neat and Tangled Stamps

Hello everyone! It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop with another Copic Tutorial to share with you. Today I'm using the Ride with Me Stamp Set and the coordinating Ride with Me Nice and Neat Dies. I just LOVE hot the die cuts the legs apart so you can slide the other leg behind the bike. Super adorable!!!!

Copic Coloring with Mindy Baxter - Learning about Shadows and Shading

Hello my Creative Peeps! Happy Valentine's Day! It's Mindy from MyCreativeScoop.com with another Copic Marker Tutorial to share with you. Today I'm using this adorable beaver from the Beavers Eh Stamp Set, which also has a coordinating Beavers Eh Die Set. 

 In today's video I'm going to share all about where to add the shadows to your images. So, for those of you who struggle with light source this video is for you.

I have stamped my image on Copic Xpress Blending Card using my Black Memento Ink Pad.

Welcome Our February Guest Designer - Mindy Baxter!

Hi! I'm Mindy and the owner of MyCreativeScoop.com. My favorite part of the whole creating process is coloring and watching that cute little image pop off the page and just come to life. I love to color and teach people how to color with Copic Markers. I am from Southern California and also have 3 kids, 19, 15 and 11 and have been with my hubby for over 21 years. I'm super excited about this year and what I'll be creating and sharing with you all!

Today I'm sharing a card using this super adorable Koala from the Koalifications Stamps Set.

I had so much fun coloring this little guy and adding all fur texture and I wanted to show you just how I did that so I have a Copic Tutorial below. :)

I stamped my image in Memento Desert Sand Ink (so I can get that no line look) and I stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card. Then, I used my Copic Markers to color this cutie and used my Koalifications Nice and Neat Die to cut him out.
