Keep Cool

Hey All!  Hope you had a great weekend.  Ours was nice, relatively uneventful.  Worked on some things around the house - would you believe we just took our Christmas tree down? Haha, I know some people think that's probably crazy we kept our tree up so long, but we do that just about every year.  G loved looking at it everyday, and was so sad when he woke up and it was gone! Poor kid.  I keep reminding him we have other fun things to look forward to, like summer!  So even though it's only January, here is a summer inspired card for you :o)

The waves were made by using the negative left from my scallop die, and I just inked the edges a bit.  The little inner tube was stamped and colored with Distress Ink. Hope you like! As usual all supplies are linked below the card.

  1. I had a giggle about how you only just took the tree down, I still have it to put away too, although it has been down, the box has been starring at me and I really need to do this....as for the card, I think it is too cute...but I really would like to be cool right now, our Summer is YUCK! hugs!

  3. Such a cute card. I like the scallop waves.

Hey we took our tree down a week ago. My husband would leave it up all year if he could.
