Neat and Tangled 4th Birthday Blog Hop Day 3!

Welcome to Day 3 of Neat & Tangled's 4th Birthday Celebrations! If you missed Day 1 or Day 2, be sure to check out those posts for more inspiration from our design team and fabulous guests.

I started my card by smooshing nine mini distress inks on a large acrylic block. After the panel dried, I used the Doily Tag Die as a stencil with pearlescent embossing paste. To create the sentiment, I used the Mini MISTI to stamp and heat emboss the custom Celebrate sentiment twice, once on vellum and once on patterned paper.

Then I used the Celebrate Dies to die cut the scripted word from the vellum panel. I used scissors to hand-cut the other layers of patterned paper and then stitched them together using my sewing machine. After assembling the card, I added a few splatters to the background.

Be sure to leave comments at all the stops on today's hop for your chance to win BIG prizes!!

Neat & Tangled is giving away one $50 gift certificate and one $100 gift certificate to the Neat & Tangled Store.  The two lucky winners will be chosen from ALL the comments so be sure to comment at all stops on all five days!

See you again tomorrow!

    1. All those layers and textures. I love them. I've never been a fan of yellow maybe because I look horrid in it but the more I see it used on cards the more I like it. Love your card..it bold, bright and carefully thought out.
