Leaf Storm

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” -Albert Camus

The changing of the colors and the falling of the leaves creates a beautiful picture in the autumn season. I wanted to depict that scene on a card using the Simple Christmas stamp set.  The houses look so cozy in the leaf storm!

I painted pieces of craftboard with Distress paints, stamped the houses with Versamark, and heat-embossed with espresso powder. I stamped the small oak leaf in the set in matching Distress inks. I created the sentiment on my computer and printed it on kraft cardstock.

  1. I like the crimped kraft and colorful houses. Great idea to have the leaves match the house colors. Beautiful job!
