World Card Making Day!

Happy World Card Making Day my friends!

Of course I had to celebrate!  I signed up for the blog tour over at Paper Crafts for something fun to do. I also am lucky because my husband took G out for the day so I can do whatever I want! Which obviously means lots of time crafting away.

Here is a card I made to celebrate.  It's a Thank You to all those of you who follow my blog, leave kind comments here or on Flickr, or keep me company on Twitter :o)  I feel pretty lucky to have fallen into the world of paper crafting and am excited and thankful for all the positivity it has brought to my life. So thank you!!

I had A LOT of fun making this card.  I like it when I get my fingers inky, plus I got to use one of my new limited edition Distress Inks (Seedless Preserves).  Isn't it the most gorgeous shade of purple?  I started with a white piece of cardstock, complete ink blended the whole thing purple, and then spritzed my Hero Arts background stamp with some water with Perfect Pearls, and stamped. I love how it turned out!  I die cut the window, stamped the sentiment, and then attached the flower.

See the shimmer? The black dots were made with enamel accents.
Make sure to stop by on Monday for something special...a video perhaps? ;o)
