Party Time

Hello everyone! AmandineC here today, how are you doing?

I am delighted to share with you a card in which I had fun altering the TURKEY TALK set.

I stamped the image twice on the same paper, and then I cut the tail to create a crazy hat for my turkey.

The speech bubble is also from the Turkey Talk set, and I used a sentiment from PHOTO BOOTH, as well as some sequins on a background created using distress inks as watercolors.

Have you ever played with your images to create new ones?  I'd love to see!

Introducing Amandine!

Hello Neat and Tangled friends! I am so excited to finally introduce you to Amandine! She is joining our design team and I couldn't be more excited! Her work is fresh and exciting, and I know you will love her just as much as I do!

First, she created a beautiful card for you using our Hello There die and Send Pretty Mail stamp set.

And now a little more about Amandine:

Hello everyone,

I'm Amandine, I'm 25 years old. I am French, and I live in the North East of France with my partner and our three cats. I love the US, and I really hope to have the chance to come there one day! Why not even live there?

I've been scrapbooking since 2009, before I was doing what we call the digital scrapbooking. I immediately recognized myself in the clean and simple style because this style embodies for me the purity and elegance of art. I like what is simple in life, and this style suit me perfectly!

I also love making cards. I set up a feature  on my YouTube channel called "Une Carte Un Sourire" or "One Card One Smile" in English, for diabetic children in hospital from my area. Indeed, I am diabetic and know all too well how hard it is, and the idea of using my passion to bring some happiness in their life seemed to be obvious.

But I don't do only cards, I also like to make scrapbook layout, art journal, or home décor.

What I like above all in scrapbooking,  it's just sharing !

I must confess that when Danielle contacted me, I had to read his message several times to believe it. I really thought she was doing me a joke LOL ! But what happiness! I want to thank her also for her kindness and trust !

Finally,  let the adventure begin!
I look forward to share with you all my projects with of course the fabulous Neat & Tangled products!

See you very soon ! :)

Introducing the New Neat and Tangled Design Team!

Hello friends!

First of all I have to say a huge thank you to everyone that applied for the design team.  The applications poured in, and I truly enjoyed reading over each one, visiting blogs, and seeing all of your amazing projects!  Unfortunately, all of that made it incredibly difficult for me to make a decision. I managed to select 5 girls to join our team beginning in February.  And you will still be seeing the 5 familiar faces of Pamela Ho, Amy Kolling, Chari Moss, Linda Trace, and Yana Smakula.

And now I am excited and honored to introduce our new girls! Be sure to head to their blogs to check them out and say hello!

Joni Andaya
Hi Joni here, I am a stay at home Mom for a moment who loves to create cards for family and friends. I have been creating cards for a long time but did not create my blog until the end of the year 2012. I love to use colors and dimensions on my projects. I love to use different elements that are available that can be incorporated on my projects as well. Most of all I love creating my own backgrounds and I am so very honored & ecstatic to be given an opportunity to create projects for Neat & Tangled using their fabulous stamps designs.

Taheerah Atchia
Hi everyone! I'm Taheerah and I can't tell you how happy and excited I am to be joining the Neat & Tangled family! :-)

I'm a 30-plus-a-few Londoner now living in the North West of England with my beautiful cats. I work in IT by day and craft by night! I love all things geeky - having a background in science and working in my profession I guess that can't be avoided! I've always been creative but stamping and cardmaking have truly captured my heart and my imagination. I love experimenting with most styles and am definitely a huge lover of trends. I really thrive on pushing my skills and creative eye to the limit, so my work is frequently packed with techniques, outside-the-box uses of product, and clever details! I can't wait to put that to use with the fabulous Neat & Tangled goodies!!

Christine Drogt
Hi, it's Christine from Germany. I have been crafting all my life (I'm 31 now) and started card making in 2010. I have no idea how that happened - but I got totally addicted to stamping. (I bet you know that feeling that you NEED that stamp!). Cardmaking-videos are something I also love a lot, so last year I got a camcorder and started.
I live with my hero Michael and our three cats who all respect my crafty mess.  Lucky me :) I am also lucky to work in a youth centre with a focus on creativity (theatre, photography, arts,..) and enjoy motivating the kids a lot.

On my cards I love to use clean lines, different elements and little details. Maybe I'll start a Project Life soon. I feel totally honored and excited to be joining this team of talented girls - thanks Danielle for having me!

Kristen Foreman
Hi! My name is Kristen Foreman and I love everything crafty.  Originally a Florida native, I currently reside in San Diego, CA with my husband and two fur babies.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and friends, shopping (of course), reading, going to the movies, and tons of outdoor activities. I started paper crafting in November 2012. I went to my first card making class that a friend of mine was hosting. It was love at first site! I've been making cards ever since and I am so excited to join the Neat and Tangled team!! :)

Mayuri (Flubidoo)
Hello, I'm Mayuri (or Flubidoo) and I'm so excited to be part of the Neat and Tangled Design Team for 2014! I'm a Graphic Designer turned Project Manager working in a design agency by day, but becoming an avid crafter by night. My style of card-making ranges from clean and simple through to arty, textural and experimental. I have had a huge passion for all things art and craft from a young age, when my Mum taught me to knit and I made my first scarf! The crafting / blogging community has had a huge influence on my card-making over the last year and there is so much inspiration out there already – I hope I too can be equally inspiring and encourage you all to play along!

Welcome to the NEW Design Team Members!

Happy Friday Friends!

I am here today to announce the 4 new Neat and Tangled Design Team Members! First, I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to apply.  Reading your applications and looking at your amazing work was so inspiring! There was an unbelievable amount of talent that applied, which made my job nearly impossible.  I mean it when I say I cannot wait to see what you continue to bring to the crafting community, and in the future when there is an open call I do hope that you will apply again!

Now, I'm sure you are curious to meet the newbies!  And here they are, be sure to visit their blogs to check out their work and say hello!

I am a mom of two beautiful, creative girls and wife to my hubby of nearly 12 years.  We live on 2 acres in NE Ohio with our four cats and lots and lots of antique automobiles.  I started scrapbooking in 2001 and picked up stamping a few years ago.  After my girls have gone to bed, you will find me either folding never-ending piles of laundry or tucked away in my crafty space making stuff… cards, scrapbook pages, home décor, gifts... I love them all!  I am happiest on days when I get to be creative.  I am both honored and giddy with excitement to be a part of the Neat & Tangled team!! Visit Katie's blog at Our Charmed Life.

Hello!  My name is Pamela and I live in beautiful B.C., Canada.  I am currently working full time by day and studying part time by night, so it's great to be able to have this hobby to keep me sane!  I started crafting a year ago with a small stash from a few LSS, until I discovered online shopping and have been buying stamps and supplies online ever since!  Besides crafting, I also enjoy playing musical instruments as well as photography with my little instax 25.  I'm so excited to be able to create with the design team at Neat & Tangled! Visit Pamela's blog at miao-a design blog

My name is Amy Kolling.  I live in Topeka, Kansas with my husband and two very energetic kiddos.  During the day, I work full time as a Dialysis Nurse at a large clinic.  I've always enjoyed papercrafting and started this hobby with scrapbooking my wedding a long time ago but it wasn't until I asked about a company's stamp catalogue that I became obsessed with stamping!  I have found so many great friends along the way and could never replace them.  I enjoy so many styles of stamping that I'm not sure exactly what style "I" am!  For me, it depends on the challenge or stamp set, as to what type of card I create!  I was honored to be in Paper Crafts Gallery Idol 2012 Top 5 this summer.  My cards for that contest I think reflect my style more than anything I've done.  I am currently designing for Lil' Inker Designs, Market Street Stamps and now joining the DT here at Neat & TangledVisit Amy's blog, Stamp-n-Paradise
Kasia Tomaszewska
Hello, my name is Kasia, I'm 25, I come from Poland but thanks to many smaller and bigger decisions I've been living for last 1.5 year in colourful and magical Istanbul. I came here together with my fiance and I totally enjoy living in such an inspiring and exotic city! We both love living creative life, setting up our home, snapping photos, eating good food, travelling and enjoying the little moments and I collect all of those good memories and document them in my scrapbooking projects. I've been crafting for quite a while (since August 2007), but after we moved I had time and opportunity to get into scrapbooking more seriously and I love it. I create layouts, experiment in art journals and often make little cards and sweet surprises for my friends! I mix many styles in my projects (let's call it modern scrapbooking, shall we?:), play with medias, splash paints around, layer different elements and yes, I love little details which stamps can add! Therefore I'm really happy to become a part of Neat and Tangled family and deliver you some projects made with those cute little stamps! Visit Kasia's blog, worQshop

I am so thrilled to have these girls joining the team, and I cannot wait for you to see what they do with these stamps! :)
