North Pole Elf Frame

Happy Friday! Danielle here with a fun holiday inspired home decor item!  I actually made this last year just after Christmas, and have been hanging on to it until now to share.

I used Elves at Work to create this scene. It was super easy. I hand cut some snow drifts and added some Stickles to the edges for some glistening now. Then I stamped the elf and North Pole sign, colored and cut them out, and arranged it all on a piece of patterned paper cut to fit my frame.

Here is a little close up so you can see the coloring and sparkles :)

Hope you have a great weekend!

Tangled Up in Christmas: Christmas Eve!

Danielle here, and yikes! It's Christmas Eve! I still feel like kid, I get so excited I have trouble sleeping! Good thing I have 1028 presents that still need wrapping to give me something to do ;)

I have another special card to share with you today from my lovely friend, Laurie from Soapbox Creations.  I thought this was a perfect card to share with you today, because, you know, Santa's getting all ready to leave the North Pole ;)

Hope you all have an amazing and wonderful Christmas Eve. I'll actually be back again tomorrow with a card for you all.  Be sure to try and get some sleep tonight!

Tangled Up in Christmas Day 22: Christmas Gifts

Hello! This is Pamela for Day 22 for Tangled Up in Christmas. Let me show you what Christmas favours I made for my friends this year with my Neat & Tangled stamps.  This time, I used Neat & Tangled's Elves at Work and Sweet Home for my little gifts.

I made two types of Christmas gifts this year.  A pyramid favour box with some Lindt chocolate inside and a tag set with various designs on them.

Christmas Favours

I first die cut the favour box with some cardstock.  Then I die cut a few triangles for my designs.  These little favours boxes are perfect for the recipient to hang on their Christmas trees!  My tag set features three fun shaker tags packaged into a 100% handmade box, designed to fit my tags.

How is your Christmas crafting coming along?

For You Tag

Merry Christmas, everyone! Have done wrapping your gifts? :) Nina here today to share a quick tag!

Love the sparkle stamp in the Elves at Work set.

I masked the little bow from Elves at Work and stamped the candy cane from Sweet Home. So I don't need to worry about the tiny bow getting loose on its way to the recipient :)

Off to make more of my tags! Happy crafting!

Tangled Up in Christmas Day 14: Treat Bags

Good morning friends,

Do you give edible treats and baked goods for the holiday? I certainly do, and I am always looking for crafty ways to help dress up my treats.   I want to share with you today how I used my Neat and Tangled stamps to create a holiday house from a small kraft coffee bag. I usually opt for the bags that are lines with the plastic coating to keep any oils from the baked treats from marring the outside of the bag.

I used the scallop rows from Little Tangles to create the roof and trimmed it with the peppermint from Santa's Notes. The peppermint fits perfectly inside a 1/2" circle punch.

I re-purposed the gifts from Elves at Work as windows along with the Santa's Workshop sign. The north pole from Santa's Notes became the door frame and some gum drops from Hey Cookie accent the snowdrift landscape.

Your bag is now ready for whatever yummy treats you plan to place inside. Happy Baking!

Tangled Up in Christmas Day 11: Christmas Elves

Hello! This is Pamela for Day 11 for Tangled Up in Christmas. Neat & Tangled's Elves at Work is just perfect for the holidays!

How cute are these elves from the stamp set? Stamp elves. Color elves. Cut out elves. Adhere elves. And you got yourself a Christmas card.

N&T: Elf Twins

Although I left a white edge around the elves, the pattern paper is still pretty busy. To balance the card a bit, I stitched some vellum onto the pattern paper to soften the busy pattern and make the focal point(s) stand out. Vellum is definitely a great way to balance out any busy patterns!

Tangled up in Christmas Day 8: Snowy Shaker Card

tangledinxmas

Hi Everyone, Chari here with Day 9 of Tangled up in Christmas.  Today I have a fun shaker card to share using a few Neat & Tangled sets.

NorthPoleShaker

I stamped the tree from Little Bear twice on green card stock and cut them out, I colored one with a green marker to vary the color slightly.  The north pole sign and pole are white card stock colored with copics.  I always have issues with my shaker material sticking to things inside but in this case I think it looks like the snow sticking to the trees and sign. :) For the frame I used a spellbinders die for the scalloped circle and then a smaller circle die to cut out the inside.  I used glossy accents and peppermint lawn trimmings twine to accent my frame and stamped out the presents from Elves at Work to create a tone on tone custom pattern background.

A Gift For You!

Merriest wishes, everyone! Nina here with a quick and easy gift project!

I bought some $1 plastic ornaments at Hobby Lobby, punched a paper circle that is slightly bigger than the ornament's diameter, added my little elf and glued them together with some Claudine Hellmuth multi-medium matte. My focal is the gift (wink)!

All stamps are from Elves at Work set. The cutest ever!

Thank you for stopping by! Happy crafting!
