Layering with Daria

Hello-hello Awesome People!

Daria here. Today, I am again playing with Heartfelt Thanks stamp and die. 

This card turned out as a progress for my previous project. You can find the blog post here. There is a video too that shows major step of creating a card. 

I started with heat-embossing a flower bouquet from Heartfelt Thanks stamp  set in white over craft and over white card-stock.  At first, I wanted to use just coloured cardstock. But then, I've decided to add a little bit of colouring. I coloured the bouquet with distress oxide inks in Peacock feathers and Cracked Pistachio and blending tool. I think, those are two of my most favourite colours.  

Then, I die cut the coordinating die using light pink cardstock from Over The Rainbow Assorted Cardstock Pack and from Gold metallic cardstock. 

I cut my coloured bouquet in two pieces to split it across the card, so it frames it. And then, started to adhere other parts from behind, to make them peek behind the major image.  I used foam tape to create different layers and dimension. 

The sentiment is from the Grateful Heart stamp set, heat embossed in white. White flowers on the background looks like lace. I like this trick. As a finishing touch, I have added a few sequins in gold.
