Foliage Silhouette

Welcome back everyone! Mindy here with you today and I'm creating a silhouette scene with the Foliage Frame stamp set.

The Foliage Frame stamp set is one of my favorites. It has such beautiful designs that you can create an entire background with or stamp individually.

I started by masking off an area on my card with post it tape. Then I ink blended Lemon Drop, Fruit Punch and Thistle Hero Hues Reactive Inks.

Leaving the post it tape in place, I stamped the individual leaves from the Foliage Frame set using Altenew Obsidian Black ink.

I removed the mask and stamped the sentiment under my ink blended area. This sentiment comes from the Typed Sentiments stamp set. It has so many great sentiments on it and I adore the typed font.

I covered the bottom half of my card with a scratch piece of paper and spritzed on some water. The water reacts with the ink to leaves those speckles. This reminds me of a bokeh effect.

I trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5 1/4" , added foam tape to the back and attached to an A2 size
white notecard.
