DIY Glitter and Stamp Ornament

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments over the past few days for various blog hops.  I love making these cards and it's so nice when others enjoy it as well! Now on to today's project.

I wanted to make a few ornaments using my stamps because some of the images are just too cute.  I didn't want them to be just paper, for fear of them ripping and fading over the years. So, here is what I came up with! I made mine real cutesy for the kids, but you could always make them more elegant depending on the images you chose. Be sure to watch the second video as well for a few extra tips I forgot to mention at first :o) All the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of this post. Hope you enjoy and I apologize for the rough editing in the first video but I was in a bit of a hurry!

HERE is a link to Mary Dawn's post about making glitter ornaments.

  2. If you haven't already you need to watch Mary Dawn's video about glittering the inside ornaments! (although her method coats all of it) I just got some floor polish yesterday to try it out. http://mypinkmexico.blogspot.com/2011/12/15-days-of-christmas-day-4-glittered.html
Also, did you know that they make sparkle mod podge, I have some, I love it, if you like glitter :) Perhaps I will use it in the mod podge project I want to do and you can see. Great tutorial by the way, and super cute ornaments, I love that you let G pick out the images!
