We're back with more Neat & Tangled/Freckled Fawn projects.

Hey there,

Mayuri here to share a card for the Neat & Tangled collaboration with Freckled Fawn and their awesome range of embellishments. 

The Classic White Doilies from Freckled Fawn are crying out for some inkage (is that a word?!) and I couldn't wait to try out one of my favourite techniques on them. Basically, smoosh a couple of Distress Ink colours onto a craft mat, spritz with water and then lay the doily into the inky puddles.

I heat set the doily and repeated the process a few times until I achieved the desired result - I didn't want all of it covered with ink but just enough to give me a base for the sentiment.

I thought the large sentiment from Be Full was just the right size and stamped it with black dye ink onto the doily and also onto a square card base. I did this because the holes in the doily made it slightly harder to read the sentiment but by adhering it to the card with a couple of glue dots, I was able to match up the stamped impressions and make it appear more complete (hope that makes sense!).

I adhered a small twine bow to the top of the doily and added a cork star with another glue dot.

To finish, I adhered a couple of sequins from the Sunset Shimmer mix.

Let Our Lives Be Full

Hi! It's Jocelyn on the blog today.

It's Thanksgiving week in the U.S., and I was inspired to use the Be Full set. Instead of using the stamp as a Thanksgiving set, I wanted to use it for a thank you card that would work year-round.

Here's the finished card:

Even though this card is pretty CAS, there are several layers. On top of the card base, I watercolored with spray mists. The mists have a great intensity. I used the watercoloring technique I learned from Yana. :)

I didn't worry too much about how the watercoloring looked. Instead, I was going for loose blocks of colors.

While I was waiting for the watercoloring to dry, I die-cut a background from Wilna Furstenberg on my Cameo. While many backgrounds would work, the key is to die-cut it in white to contrast with the watercoloring.

I die-cut part of a larger scene and simply trimmed off the edges for the final look.

For the third layer, I stamped the sentiment from the Be Full set on vellum, and heat embossed it with red glitter embossing powder.

I trimmed down the layers and stitched the vellum to the backgrounds. The stitching allows the vellum to have a little lift at the bottom.

So....does it work for a non-Thanksgiving card? Or do I need to send this card in the next two days? Ha!

Release After Party Day 3!

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!

Sometimes circumstances are such that we have to change something in our schedule. Three of our designers living outside of the United States received their September release sets too late to join in with the normal Release fun. But fear not! We didn't want you to miss out on what they would have created, so we have decided to arrange a Release After Party!

Today is the last 'After Party', and taking you into the night and partying with you in style is Taheerah! I've five cards to share with you, each created using the *awesome* stamps from the September release!


My first card features the fantastic Be Full set. With that fantastic font and layout I just had to go with a chalkboard look and create a card full of Autumnal colours!

 I stamped the sentiment with white pigment ink first then overstamped with orange dye ink to create an orange chalk effect!

My second card uses the Turkey Talk set. I used a scrap piece of paper that I'd used to mop up ink and spills before as it had the most awesome blend of colours and shimmer!

I stamped my turkey right over the top, and mounted him over a panel of patterned paper stamped repeatedly with the 'Gobble Gobble' sentiment - and of course I had to use the speech bubble, stamped on cork to say that sentiment 'straight from the turkey's beak'!

Moving on, my third card features the wonderful My Plate Is Full set!

I stamped the heart repeatedly to create my own patterned paper, overstamping some of the hearts with various mists to add some shimmer and a secondary colour! I combined several of the sentiments in this set to create a custom greeting!

Next up - a combo of Creepy Cute and Creepy Cute Shadows And Sentiments! I loved stamping those adorable bats onto patterned paper and pairing them up with other patterned papers for the sentiment strips and background!

I love the extra little detail of the washi tape underneath each of the sentiments!

And finally, to wrap things up, my final card features the beyond-awesome Origami Map set.

I swiped inkpads and sprayed with mists for my panel, and loved stretching my stamps by using one of the arrow stamps to create a banner for the aeroplane to fly my sentiment!

Release After Party Day 2

Hello crafty friends,

Christine here!
It's my pleasure to  bring you more inspiration using the October release stamps. Just like Anna told you  yesterday the international girls celebrate a fabulous release-after-party with you.

I have five cards to share with you today:

I instantly fell in love with Origami Map! It screams for watercolor, but I wanted to challenge my self not to use a emboss-resist technique! So this map ist mostly grey and twi countries/sport are colored in aqua. One got a pin-needle, the other one a heart. Mapping can be so much fun!

 Living in Germany we don't really celebrate thanksgiving or Halloween, so I don't have a lot of  pumpkins in my stamp collection. This one is pretty cool with it's super bold lines. It's from the Be Full set.

The next card is VERY graphic. I used the plate from My plate is full to draw attention to the sentiment and used forks, knifes and spoons in light colors to have a nice background.

As I said - thanksgiving isn't popular over here ;) So I used the turkey for a Good luck/Hello card using some washi with sentiments and just let the turkey from Turkey Talk gobble ;) Isn't he cute?

 Next up maybe my favorite card. I used the skull from Creepy Cute (a set beyond cuteness!!!) with some spiders and Creepy Cute Shadows and Sentiments. There is a bow in that set, but I created another bow made of bones. (Maybe that's hard to see). I just puffy heart love the bad to the bone sentiment!

Another card that's more cute than creepy is this one: a CAS one layer card using the bat from Creepy Cute.

Release After Party Day 1

Hello, dear friends! Sometimes circumstances are such that we have to change something in our schedule, but we tried to make it so that you get even more satisfaction of meetings with our stamps! Three of our designer living outside of the United States received their October releases sets too late. And in honor of this we have decided to arrange for you Release After Party!

Today with you Anna, and I'll show you five of my cards made ​​using the brand new stamps. And the first of them - this is a cute card with clouds, which I did, using sets of Creepy cute and Creepy cute shadows and sentiments. I stamped clouds with blue watercolor and than added a clouds silhouettes with black inks, and one cloud has eyes and a smile. So cute! And color splashes and clear sequins and accents.

The second card is made of Be Full set. I love, how stamps lay in the package, so I decided to use this "sketch" (phrase as a center element, pumpkin on the bottom and leaves on the sides). I stamped, colored and cut elements, made white embossing on an orange cardstock. Simple and elegant!

And next card is my favorite of all! I'm absolutely in love with this Origami Map set! Absolutely fabulous idea! I made white embossing of map and colored it with the watercolors, so relax!

It's a long time I have an idea to make something crazy with stamps, for example.. to curve a stamp! I cut a strip of black cardstock with two circle dies, than curved a sentiment stamp as with the same radius as a cardstock has and made an embossing. Looks great!

Turkey Talk is small but too cute set :) But I decided to create something different. I stamped a strip of sentiments with different colors and added some accents.

And the last card for today is this one with using of My plate is full set. I made this one layered card:
