A Flair for Buttons Valentine's Day Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! Danielle here today with a very fun and LOVE-ly post :)

Welcome to the {a flair for buttons} Valentine's Day blog hop! Join our designers as we showcase some of Shelley's awesome new flair. We hope to inspire you along the way! You should have arrived from Shelley's blog.

I did lots of layering with fun textures, patterns, and colors while still trying to keep it relatively CAS. These cards are a little more 'floofy' than my usual style, but I had lots of fun making them! I used the "love" flair from the new Home 2 Flair set for both.

For this one I used a few of my obsessions, Crate Paper On Trend patterned paper and Studio Calico wood veneer hearts. Oh, and some Picket Fence Distress Stickles! (All products can be seen at the end of this post!). Any questions about the cards or products used just leave it in the comments below!
Love and Hearts
For this card I used the On the Strip stamp (now back in stock HERE) for to get that washi look on the card base, and then layered my elements on top.

Neat and Tangled Sponsoring CAS-ual Fridays!

Happy Friday!!

Some fun news, Neat and Tangled is sponsoring this week's CAS-ual Fridays Challenge! The challenge is black and white plus one color!
Winner will receive $20 to spend in the Neat and Tangled shop!
Print
I used the little bee from Fresh Blooms, and just white heat embossed her on black cardstock, it really pops! For my color I used one of my favorite pieces of flair from {a flair for buttons}. It's from the Hexagon Boys set. Shelley's buttons are now available at Two Peas!! How awesome is that!  I thought this particular flair was perfect since it looks like a honeycomb! I left off a sentiment because I am always in need of non-specific cards just to send little notes :)

CAS-ual Fridays Sponsor!
Hope you have a wonderful day!  And be sure to play along at CAS-ual Fridays!

Lawnscaping 37: Dimension!

Good Monday morning!  Back today with the next challenge over at Lawnscaping. This week it's all about dimension!
The winner will will a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!
Simon Says Stamp

Using dimension on scrapbook layout's is something I tend to avoid because it makes it hard to get in albums, and makes my albums super thick. But I challenged myself for this one.  I added dimension by having lots of layers (glassine bags, cardstock, photos), and using buttons, foam dimensionals and flair.  It definitely has dimension, but still fits nicely in my album :)

Hope you play along, and I'll be back Wednesday!

Friends with Flair

Happy Monday!

I'm over at {a flair for buttons} today sharing this card.  I made it using some of my new flair, another gorgeous chevron button.  I also put to use some of that faux washi tape that I made here.  I thought this card was super fun and bright. Perfect for a friend!

Hope you have a good week!

Tulips with Flair + Announcement

I feel like a bad person because I'm 99% sure I forgot to tell you that I joined the Design Team over at A Flair For Buttons! What's that, you've never heard of it??! Well  hurry up and go check it out!  I was thrilled when Shelley invited me to join the team because the flair buttons she makes are A-MAZING! And better yet they are sooo affordable and there are so many styles!

You can see all her flair and purchase it HERE

Here is a card using some of my new flair! (The chevron button) I also showed some love to my uninked Newspaper Tulips(another one of those stamps I "HAD to have IMMEDIATELY!). I left off a sentiment because I find myself occasionally needing a blank card, and I thought this one looked pretty as is :) Hope you all have a great weekend!
