Hi! It's Mary Dawn and I'm so happy to take my turn to help Danielle celebrate 5 years of Neat & Tangled. I was a member of her first design team and I remember how excited I was when she invited me to join the team. Danielle is one of my favorite humans and I'm so proud of her and of Neat & Tangled.

I've used the Balloon Duo stencils, and Hooray Word Dies from the new release and an old favorite, Ink Splash, to create my cards for today!

So Long and Some Favorites

I have had such an amazing year and a half on this team, saying goodbye to all of these talented women is proving quite difficult. So I choose to say "so long", because I know I'll see all of them continue to be amazing and to make beautiful art.

Thank you, Danielle, for giving me the privilege of designing for Neat & Tangled. I wish you the best in everything.

Freaking Fantastic

Hey there, it's Mary Dawn here. I'm bringing you a card I created for November Release Week. Unfortunately, I was unable to get my projects to Danielle because of an emergency. But that means I'm off the hook for my December post...sort of.

I made this fun card with Miriam's genius On The Corner set. I stamped the street sign in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it in with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens. When my coloring was done, I stamped Freaking & Fantastic in Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

This set is so fun and different. I love all of the fun word combinations you can make.

Hello Neat & Tangled friends! I know many of our US friends are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving. What a wonderful time it is to just reflect on what we are so grateful for! January 2013 Release Day 5: A Lot to Say

Well, here we are, day 5 of release week! I'm so sad it's over already! *sniffle, sniffe* *wipes tears from eyes* Sheesh, seems like it was just Monday! Thank you so much for all of your lovely comments and excitement, it truly is contagious!

While I'm sad that release week is wrapping up, I am excited because all 5 sets are available for purchase in the Neat & Tangled shop! Now I get to see you work your magic! AND I still have one stamp you haven't "officially"seen yet!

It's called A Lot to Say, and it's A LOT of fun :) Who doesn't love a big old speech bubble?

You can obviously fill it with words, but also images, scenes, use it as a background...the sky is the limit! I love how Suzanne covered up the bottom part so it just looks like a rounded card, and Pamela amazed me with how she did some fancy stampin' to make it a different size! OH, do you Project Life? Because guess what? It fits perfectly on a 3x4 insert :) I could go on and on, but instead I will leave you with even more amazing projects to wrap up this week!

I'm here today with another (maybe my favorite? can I have a favorite child??) new 4x6 set - Party Dots! I haven't kept my love of sequins a secret, and this set is clearly inspired by them.
