Design Team Reunion: Linda Trace

Hey there crafty friends!

Linda here, and I’m and so excited to be a part of this special blog hop celebration!! I still remember the Skype conversation where Danielle nervously announced to me and a few close friends, that she was starting a stamp company. Without a moment’s hesitation we all broke into exclamations of excitement and support, and I know we all were and still are SO proud of Danielle for being brave enough to begin this new chapter in her life, and how far she’s come.

For my card I really wanted to let the images be the stars of the show, so I coloured them in with my brand spankin new Polychromos Pencils (hello dreamy!), then cut them all out using the coordinating dies, and compiled them into a little cluster-scene.  I decided to add some white gel pen details to the images for some extra interest—I’m kinda in love with the furry chest on the monkey and giraffe.

For a final touch I added a splash of white spray ink on the base notecard, a little black Enamel Accents for the eyes, and some glossy accents to the balloon.

I hope you like it and are enjoying the amazing cards being made this month!

Happy Anniversary/braveaversary Danielle and thank you so much for having me!

Happy Friday!

A few things before you get to meet another fabulous DT member...
1. There will be a second post this evening announcing the open Design Team call, so be sure to check it out if you are interested! I mentioned last week I am looking for a few more girls to round out the team
2. I know some of you have received your stamps, so don't forget to upload them to our Flickr group!  (You never know when I might pick one out to share it on the blog!)

Now, I'm here today to introduce you to the lovely Linda Trace of Papertracer
Hi! I'm Linda, I live in Melbourne Australia. I've been crafting for many years but more seriously since about 2008. I love all crafts, but scrapbooking and card making are my focus. I'm so excited and very honoured that my wonderful friend Danielle has invited me to be a part of her Design team. I can't wait to see where this fantastic new stamp line goes!!

Be sure to head over to Linda's blog to say hello! :)

Happy Friday Friends! I'm so happy to have another fabulous guest blogger this week. She is the lovely Linda from Papertracer.  Find out a little about her and check out the amazing card she made to share with you all. Be sure to stop by her blog and check out all her other lovely creations!

Hi there!
I'm so excited and honoured that Danielle asked if I would add a little something to her *amazing* blog while she took care of that gorgeous bubba of hers! (Smart girl don't you think?!)

A little bit about me: I've always been interested in crafts, paper, stationary but I only really started scrapbooking about 3 years ago and cardmaking entered very soon after. Things got serious between us (me and the cardmaking I mean) quickly and now we're going steady :)

I've had my blog
www.papertracer.blogspot.com for over a year now and I really love it. This crafting industry is full of such wonderful, generous, amazing people (like Danielle :)) and I'm so happy to be a part of it.

I live in Melbourne, Australia (on the Southern tip of the Eastern side of the country) with my wonderful hubby and 2 gorgeous daughters--who are VERY interested in mummy's stamps and pretty papers! I lived in Japan for almost 2 years when I was 21 and wish I could go back there every day, it's an incredible place!
Thanks so much for 'having me' here and I hope you enjoy what I've made!
*hugs*
