Nuts About You with Alphabet Dies

Hello there! It's Keeway here today and I wanted share a card using negative space die cuts and alphabet dies.

Often times we're left with tons of scraps from die cutting, so why not make use of them and make more cards! First off, I used the Journal Alphas dies to create my sentiment 'Nuts About You'. I didn't bother putting back some of the inside pieces, as it gives it a bit of modern look. I then sized down the card stock to a size just 0.5" less than A2 on each side. I had this left alignment look in my mind. Then, I sprinkled on some white acrylic paint splatter for a little extra texture to the colored card stock.

Next, I stamped and colored the squirrels from My Favorite Nut and die cut my images out with coordinating dies. I first adhered my negative die cut panel over an A2 base with foam tape, aligned to the top left. Then I arranged my squirrels around and within the sentiment with foam tape as well.

So if you ever want to make use of your scraps to make a second card after die cutting out a sentiment, hope today's card gives you some inspiration!
