Merry Christmas!

Confused by the title of my post? Don't be, it's just Christmas in July over here.

About this time of year, when our big vacation has passed, and it's obnoxiously hot, I start pining for the holidays.  Confession: I am burning a holiday scented candle as we speak, don't judge! It really is my favorite time of the year.

I also just started taking the Stretch Your Stamps Online Card Class. It's only Day 2, but it's been amazzzing so far! You really should sign up for it if you're able.

While I love being creative sometimes I have trouble thinking of new or creative ways to use my stamps. I'm not like some people who look at a stamp of a sock and say "A PINWHEEL!"(this was actually done on a card I saw but I can't for the life of me find it to link to right now!). Anyhow, in an attempt to stretch my stamps. I tried to make a Christmas card using non-Christmas stamps.  Here is my feeble attempt lol

Anyone else already getting in the Christmas spirit?? I can't be alone.

  6. I love your card! I'm having a mojo block on the Stretch Your Stamps as well. Haven't been able to make a card yet, but I'm not giving up. I just came in from outside and its blazing hot here in NE WA. I think I'll just stay inside now & try to get my mojo back.

  7. Very nice card -- looks like Christmas in China Town. You are not the only one to make Christmas cards in the past few days. The kid and I have summer colds, so we started making new holiday cards out of the fronts of old holiday cards. Seven down and another seventy-seven (or more) to go!
