Hi all!  It's my last post guest designing for Neat & Tangled and it's been such a joy!  For my last card, I wanted to play with the new Send Pretty Mail and Hello There stamps and dies again.  I cannot stop using this beautiful hello die!  It's so versatile!
To create this card, I first started stamping the flowers in various inks, then I added the leaves and berries.  Once I had it all  stamped, I colored them in very lightly!  When I'm stamping flowers like this, I tend to try and cluster them about on card and turn the images before I stamp them so that each bouquet is slightly different but still has the same color balance.

I had intended to place the sentiment right on top of the flowers but ultimately I liked them hanging over top!  To create the border, I ran a strip of washi tape along the bottom!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.  Thank you to Danielle and the entire Neat & Tangled team for having me this past month too!  I hope you have a great day!

For the Record, Heather Campbell Loves Gardenia Blooms

Today we have Heather Campbell sharing, we were so lucky to have her helping out with our release this month and she's back with a couple more cards today!
_______________

Hello! I'm thrilled to be here today on the Neat & Tangled blog helping out for a few weeks! I've been a huge Neat & Tangled fan from the beginning and it's been so fun to play with the product for this last release!

Today, I have two cards to share with you today. My first card uses the new Gardenia Blooms Journaling Card stamp set.

To create this card, I stamped the journaling card and a sentiment on white card stock and then I colored the gardenias in with Copics very lightly using dots to create the depth and interest. Then, I fussy cut out the journaling card and mounted it on a card base with a patterned paper front. I love the simplicity and boldness of this card so much!

Next up, I used the new For the Record stamp set.

When I saw this set, I knew I had to do something like this eventually and I'm so glad I finally went and executed just what I had envisioned! First I stamped the record player on watercolor card stock. Then I went in and got it wet and brought the watercolors to the paper in spectrum of rainbow colors. I had lots of fun flicking the watercolors around to create splatter too! Once it was dry I added a heat embossed sentiment and some gold sequins from Sunset Shimmer.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! I hope you have a great day!
XOXO,
Heather

Hello friends! I'm here today to share another project created by our July guest designer, Heather Campbell! She has already created some fabulous projects earlier in the month for our July release, and I'm so happy to be able to share more!

She created this fun and fresh card by combining On the Strip, Kindness Matters, Everyday Circles and Just Thinking of You. It really shows how all the Neat and Tangled sets work so well together!

July Guest Designer: Heather Campbell!

Hi friends! I am so excited to be here to announce our July guest designer, Heather Campbell. If you haven't visited her blog, Parker and Molly, before you must head over and check it out now!  Here's a little about Heather and a card she made using Sparkle and Shine that I absolutely love!

Hello!  My name is Heather Campbell and I live just outside of Seattle with my husband Dave and our two children, Parker & Molly.  I'm also Manufacturing Engineer for one of the world's top aerospace manufacturing companies.  I absolutely love my job but I definitely need a creative outlet.  I've always been crafty and dabbled in scrapbook, both digital and physical. However, in 2011, I stumbled into card making/paper crafting when I decided I needed ahobby that I could do with limited amounts of time, require minimal space in the house, and not make much of a mess.  Yeah, obviously I had no idea what I was getting into but I am so glad I did!

Heather will be joining us for the July Release fun that starts on Wednesday July 10! Be sure to stop July 10-12 to see 3 new sets being revealed!
