I fell in love with stamping and card-making over 16 years ago. However, I only became active and passionate about my hobby in Fall 2008. After joining Hero Arts Flickr Group and starting my blog in Sept. 2009, I haven’t stopped since! I love working with all kinds of stamps, pattern paper, inks, digital images, embellishments and stickers! My favourite style is leaning toward Clean and Simple. I like to add a “wow” factor to my cards as it gives the receivers a lasting impression and a sense of delight and charm. I also like to learn new stamping techniques and incorporate them into my card-making and occasional scrapbooking. What I love about Neat and Tangled Stamps are the versatility of the stamp designs. With the pretty and whimsical stamps, your project can be any style that your heart desires. I really enjoy playing with the Neat and Tangled Stamps and see how they make my brain think about designs. And to me, that is the beauty of creating a handmade card. Thank you, Danielle, for inviting me to be the guest designer for October. I am so honored and I hope that my guest design work inspires you somehow.

How I design: The scalloped borders from Little Tangled are so versatile. It makes a perfect match with the lantern from the BG collection Konnichiwa. I simply embossed and trimmed off the bottom.  It gives a decorative look.  I took the colors from the paper and added the button and string. This card truly is a joy to make!
Tips: When you choose a busier pattern paper to work with, you can tone it down by adding solid colors and details to enhance the design.

Thank you so much, Virginia! We are so happy to have you join our team this month :)
