Happy Birthday Britta!

Hello friends!

Welcome to the next stop on Britta's Birthday Blog Hop! :) You should have arrived from Chunyuan's blog, if you get lost or want to start back at the beginning you can see the full list over on Marie's blog.

I've known Britta through the blog world for a while now, and I had the awesome experience of being her roomie on a crafty retreat back in October :)  I loved getting to spend some time with her in real life, she's just as fun and creative as you imagine!!

Here is a fun card I made for Britta to celebrate her birthday! I currently have  sequin obsession, so get ready for lots o' shine for the next couple weeks! And are you wondering where I got that banner and sentiment stamp from? Uh oh, it might just be a sneak peak of a NEW Neat and Tangled stamp set coming in January! Shhh...don't tell anyone I showed you, the design team hasn't even seen this set yet!! ;) I thought it went so perfectly with the sequins I couldn't resist using it!

Happy Birthday Britta!

Happy Birthday Britta! I hope it's the best one yet! I promise I will for real mail you this card!! Now hop on over to Jennifer's blog to keep the party going!

You are.......

Hi everyone!  I'm glad to be back crafting after the week I "took off"!  :)
I hope you took advantage of the sale at Neat & Tangled stamps over the weekend and snagged some of your favorites!

Today, I'm sharing a simple, simple card with you.  Using the word stamps from Kindness Matters, I created a sweet sentiment panel adding in some of the heart stamps as well.

You are thoughtful

I also used another set, Little Tangles, for stamping my own Chevron paper and then die cutting it with an arrow die.  I love that I can highlight certain words in my sentiment this way!

That's all from me today!  Enjoy and we'll be back later this week with some very inspiring posts to spark your creativity this season!

Guest Designer: Paulina Nakamura

Hi friends! Our November guest designer is back again today with another fun card!  Also, don't forget today is the last day our sale! So make sure to head over to the shop and take advantage! :)

Hello, Neat and Tangled friends!

I'm back with my last post as the guest designer for November. Since I went all out Christmas on the other post, I thought I would stick with the season we are currently in: Fall!

I don't know about you, but I absolutely love the beautiful colored leaves scattered about. There are so many different varieties and we all know that jumping in leaves pictures are the best. I went with that creative thought and made some pretty Fall leaves and scattered them around the owl {both from Little Bear}

Most of the time I like to do nice, clean edges, but I thought this rustic card could use a little distressing on the edges. I must say, this technique adds a lot to cards and it's so easy to do! If you haven't tried it before, you should give it a try! :)

Thank you so much Danielle for having me as a guest designer on the blog. I thoroughly enjoyed using my Neat and Tangled sets and it was so nice to "meet" some new friends as well!

Blessings to you all this holiday season.....

Black Friday Sale going on at Neat & Tangled
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Happy Friday Friends! Danielle here!

For those of you in the US, I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving! Ours was great, lots of food, family, and laughs. Can't beat that!

Today begins the next challenge over at Young Crafters Unite. This time it's all about the holidays!

This is one I put together that is super simple! A few strips of washi, some twine and a button plus the sentiment and ta-da!

Merry Christmas

Well, I'm off to get my turkey in the oven! I know, yesterday was Thanksgiving but we go to my in-laws for dinner.  Our tradition has become that we have our own little mini-Thanksgiving here the day after with just the 4 of us.  We realized we missed having leftovers ;) I think I'll also do a little online Black Friday shopping :)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Advent Calendar with Santa's Notes stamps

Today begins our big weekend sale! Head HERE to shop.
*  *  *  *  *  * *  *

Hey! It's Kasia here with little Christmas inspiration for you! A while ago I decided to make my own Advent Calendar for this holiday season and I'd love to show you my finish project today!

It's really simple project- just bunch of tiny paper bags with some paint, tags and washi on them,  but what makes it spark in my opinion are all the little details which come from stamps!

I used Neat and Tangled Santa's Notes set which is full of cute little elements perfect for filling up white space on my calendar's bags- snowflakes, little stars and symbols made a great job here!

I used black ink and stamped few times without re-inking the stamp- thanks to that the images came out a bit imperfect and chaotic with different intensity- I really like this effect on my projects!

I also used the small swirly sweet image from the set and painted it with some watercolor pencils- another cute and quick detail which I totally adore! I've used this stamp on most of my Christmas projects this year :)
Below I have some details of finished bags for you:

and here are all the bags together. I really like them like this!

We put some sweet surprises in them as well as some fun activities to do together while waiting for Santa to come ;)

So.... how about you? Are you making your own Advent Calendar this year? There is still some time and it's really nice project to whip up before December! Have fun using your Neat and Tangled stamps while doing that- they are perfect not only for cards but for all sort of crafts as you can see!
Have a wonderful day!
Kasia
