Hello friends! Danielle here for a super fun blog hop to kick off your week! Today I am joined by Miriam Prantner and lots of awesomely talented friends to showcase another awesome set Miriam has designed for Neat and Tangled, Stop and Go!
This card was super easy to make! I just stamped and paper pieced the different elements of the stop light. Then I got out my ruler to draw a line very lightly in pencil so I could be sure to get my sentiment straight (yay for me being patient and not just stamping haphazardly!). I stamped that and waited a good time for it to dry before very carefully erasing the pencil line. I popped up the stop light with some foam dimensional and called it a day!
And here is my card!
Next on the hop is Miriam, so be sure to stop by and see what she has made! See the full list of participants below:
Danielle (you are here!)
GIVEAWAY! If you would like to WIN your own Stop and Go set just leave me a comment below telling me your favorite way to slow down and enjoy life! Also be sure to comment all along the way for a second chance to win! Happy hopping!
xo

*Love* the paper-pieced lights - I would never have thought of that!! Such a bright and cheerful card Danielle!!
ReplyDeleteI love your card! Paper piecing the sign is a great idea. I slow down and enjoy life by going out on my deck for my morning coffee and watching and listening to all the birds chirping and feel the sun shining!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! LOVE the paper piecing on the stop light - and I need to be more patient with a ruler and pencil sometimes too!!! :-)

So sweet! I love the papers you chose and those glossy hearts!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute card! I too am a "hurry up" stamper. Sometimes I get things a bit crooked :-) I like to slow things down by drinking my morning coffee and reading my daily meditations and praying for family and friends. It helps bring me peace of mind for the rest of the day. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome stamp set!

ReplyDeleteJ'aime me déplacer à vélo, c'est agréable, et je peux voir les choses qui m'entourent différemment.
Very cool. I like how you added hearts to the center. The way I slow down and enjoy life is to take a ride in the car for no reason except to see my environment. I love to see architecture and landscape.
ReplyDeleteLove this cute, creative card! My favorite way to slow down is a week on a houseboat at Shasta Lake, but since that doesn't happen often, we plan as many weeks at our favorite campground as possible--feels like miles from civilization even though it isn't!
ReplyDeletethis has been a great set. I like to slow down by getting in my lounge chair, grabbing a good book, a cold Pepsi, and just letting the world go on without me. Your card is cute. Have to use it for some of my greeting cards. thanks.

ReplyDeleteWOnderful card ..and very clever too ! Slowing down for me.a nice walk in garden followed by reading a book !
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card, great design. Cardmaking, of course, is rather relaxing, however, my cure all technique has to be taking a walk around the garden, barefoot on the grass & just flexing my toes in the turf, blossom, leaves .... whatever has fallen. It's even better in the rain !
ReplyDeleteSooo cute to put the tiny hearts in the stop lights! Really love that idea. I love to go on adventures outside with my kids ... it really slows me down.
