You're An Awesome Friend with Keeway

Hi there! It's Keeway here and today I wanted to share another card featuring the July Release of the oh-so-cute Schoolhouse set. I love this set so much! One of my favorite things about this set is its versaility. It might be a school-themed set, but you can make this little mouse write any sentiment you want, which means you can make it fit any type of card you need!

I stamped my images in hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. I then die cut all the images with the coordinating Schoolhouse Nice and Neat dies.

On white cardstock, I blended Worn Lipstick and Wild Honey distress inks. I really wanted a large sentiment to work with so I decided to use the Awesome Nice and Neat Dies to pair with my sentiment from the Schoolhouse set. I die cut the 'Awesome' three times out of white cardstock and adhered them together. It creates a beautiful depth to the sentiment. On a black cardstock then I die cut a dome shape out of, I also die cut the outline of awesome to get the inverse shape -- the coolest thing about these dies! And to finish the full sentiment, I heat embossed 'You're an' and 'friend' in white. I simply used a post-it to mask off any portion of the sentiment that I didn't need.

And finally, now that all the pieces are ready, I assembled them all onto my ombre background as if the little mouse writing the sentiment!
