Lets go to Paris!

What do you say we go to Paris for one day? Or at least for 5 minutes. Okay, not literally, but lets just image we are in Paris! The Eiffel Tower, Musee du Louvre, Palace of Versailles, Notre Dame... I can keep going but hopefully you are already picturing yourself sitting on the Champs Elysees and eating a french croissant.

This is exactly where I was in my mind when I was working on the card I'm sharing today. I find the the Paris stamp set to be truly one of the most inspiring Neat & Tangled sets!

I love creating custom backgrounds for my projects, so I decided to use the Eiffel Tower image and create a background with its help. I first masked a border on my card base using thin washi tape and stamped the images using black ink.

I used Faber Castell watercolor pencils to color the bows on some of the images, instead of water I grabbed my Wink of Stella glitter pen. I wasn't using watercolor paper, so I didn't want to have too much water on my project.

I finished my card with a simple je t'aime heat embossed in white onto a piece of purple cardstock. I also decided I needed some sequins so I made some myself using the Crafting is my Jam stamps and matching dies.

So what do you think?
