Hi friends!
Danielle here with a card that really has my holiday stamps pulling some overtime!
I'm so guilty of buying LOTS of holiday stamps, but not really using them as much as I should. So, I pushed myself to try to use my Christmas sets for some non-holiday cards, and it wasn't as hard as I thought!

I'm so guilty of buying LOTS of holiday stamps, but not really using them as much as I should. So, I pushed myself to try to use my Christmas sets for some non-holiday cards, and it wasn't as hard as I thought!
For this one I used our Very Merry set. To create this card I cut some triangles of colored cardstock and pieced them together like a puzzle. To be honest, it took me a while to do this the first time. Looking back it would have been much faster to use some tracing paper to make a template of the pattern I wanted. Lesson learned! I adhered those triangles to my white cardstock really well. I stamped the stars and sentiment in Versamark and embossed it with black embossing powder. To get the stars right up to the white without actually getting any on it I just covered the white with some scrap paper while stamping and embossing to keep it clean. To finish I just mounted it all onto a black card base. You'd never know this was a Christmas stamp set!
Thanks for stopping by!
