Here to share a card I originally created for the current challenge over at Jay Gee's Nook. I love me some purple, so I wanted to play. Oddly enough I had a really hard time combining different shades of purple to get something I liked. After the fact, I realized that I could also throw this in over at CAS-ual Fridays! Look at me being all efficient lol.
I knew I wanted to use the Butterfly stamp, and actually made that first. I heat embossed with white powdered and then used my Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls like watercolors to paint and fill in the image. Then I went to bed, and finished it the next day haha. I cut the Half and Half die, white heat embossed the sentiment, and then clear embossed the envelope pattern. I broke out my Janome Sew Mini to do a little stitching just for something extra. That sounds like a lot of work, but it didn't take very long.
