Stretch Your Stamps: Watercolor Ginkgo with Kelly Latevola

Hello Crafters! 

For today's card we are going to look at our stamps a little differently. 

The Have Courage set has two beautiful Ginkgo tree stamps but when I looked at them I wondered if I could turn them into bunches of flowers. 

Turns out that yes, you can :) 

I originally started out with the pink one but it started to feel very Autumn like to me so I switched to the purple/blue combination. Afterwards I was like....maybe I can still make those work

I decided to add a bit of detailing to them with a bright pink Copic marker and my white gel pen. They looked so much more like flowers afterwards.  

I added the same details to the purple combination. I also added a healthy coat of shimmer over the solid colored cardstock which you can really see on the purple. It almost looks speckled in the photo but in real life it's all glitter :)

I think both cards are super cute but there's something about the openness of the pink card that I prefer. Which one is your favorite?
