Please be Mine | Nancy Damiano

Hey there! It's Nancy with my first blog post here at Neat and Tangled. Let's make something special with from the Nuts for You stamp set and combine it with the Punchinella die to create a background.

I started by stamping the squirrels in my favorite blank ink and coloring them in with Copics. The shape was cut with the matching Nuts for You die. I then used the Punchinella die to create a background in white. The ombre effect behind the die was created with Distress Inks in three shades of pink and purple.  I hand cut a gray flag to ground the stamped image.

Here's a look at another card using a similar design. The Floral Heart stamp and die set were used to create this image. Similar to the Please be Mine card above, the Punchinella die was once again used to create a pretty background. This time color was added with a few Bubble Gum sequins. A gray flag ties the entire design together with a sentiment from the Calathea stamp set.
