Love That We Are Friends Card by Debby Hughes. Today I'm combining squirrels from My Favorite Nut with sentiments from the Love Notes set.

I stamped the squirrels from My Favorite Nut in black ink and die cut with their matching dies before coloring with Copics and then adding Faber Castell pencil shadows and details. I also stamped the love from Love Notes in red ink and die cut with it's matching die.

To complete the sentiment I stamped the coordinating wording in clear embossing ink on green card and white heat embossed before trimming in to a banner. 

All that was left to do was adhere patterned paper on the lower third of a white panel, add the green sentiment strip and then foam mount the love and squirrels. Finally I mounted the finished panel on a grey card base.

I really like that the Love Notes set has sentiments not just for Valentines but for friends also.
