It's been a busy weekend over here, as usual. Luckily this morning the husband took G out for a bit so I had lots of time to make a mess of my room get crafty.
It's been a while since I've done a challenge, so I figured I'd try for The Playdate Cafe this week.
The color combo screamed 'BABY' to me, but try as I might I just couldn't do a baby card with the colors. To be honest, I struggle with pastel colors in general. I tend to gravitate more towards bright and bold. I gave it my best shot. Yes, I know the colors may be a wee bit brighter, but it was the closest I had to the ones listed. And YES there is taupe in there - don't you see that ribbon all the way to the left??
Hope you all had a great weekend! We did, lots of swimming.
Also, I went to Michael's today. Scrapbooking storage was on sale 40% off, and I had an additional 20% off my entire purchase coupon. Needless to say, organization and storage for my office is just about complete. My tables from Ikea are due to arrive around the 20th. I cannot wait to get everything done! I'm having some major anxieties about getting everything done before baby #2 gets here.
PS- The husband is putting together one of my Jetmax storage cubes as we speak. I just heard a loud sigh, inappropriate language, and some mumbling about not doing the directions in order. Poor dear, he still has 3 cubes to go.

ReplyDeleteAlso, do you get your Michael's coupons online? I always check their website before making a trip and print out all their coupons they are running that week.

ReplyDeleteI love those storage cubes! My hubs put them together, too, but by trade he's an electrician, so he'd better be good with a drill!. Love the card - the text circles balance the sentiment nicely!
