To start at the beginning of the hop go to The Daily Marker. If you are coming from the blog of Wplus9, you are in the right place! Kathy has the full list if you encounter a broken link.
For my card I used a brand new stamp set, called Good Vibes, from our March release (it's not available until next week!). Sometimes when I'm in a crafty rut (like right now), I just go back to the things I love - bold black, bright colors, white space! It's a formula that works for me every time! It was so nice to sit down with my watercolors and just mindlessly mix! Life has been a little hectic lately, and this was really a great way to relax. I first heat embossed the sentiment in black, and then used my Dr. Ph. Martin's Radiant Watercolors to create a bright backdrop. To finish it off I added some little doodles with my white gel pen.

Love the bold colors! I just recently bought supplies to test out what medium I will enjoy most for my projects. So far I have only used alcohol markers and zig clean color real brush markers on finished projects.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite colouring medium is distress markers for watery shading but I recently got some brushos and I'm in love with their vibrancy.

ReplyDeleteLove these bold colors! Looking forward to the new release! I'm an equal opportunity colorist. I can't think of any medium I don't like to use. My go to is probably water color or colored pencils, but I really enjoy alcohol and water based markers, too.

Love this card! The Radiant Colours are unlike any I've seen in watercoloring. Not that I've been doing it for long, but it is my very favourite medium. The energy your card radiates is uplifting.
