Hey everyone! It's Day 4 of our Cosmo Cricket collaboration week!
Each day this week, two of our designers will be showcasing projects made with Neat & Tangled stamps and Cosmo Cricket's new Just Add Watercolor line. Be sure to head over to the Cosmo Cricket blog to check out Julie's post from Monday and leave a comment. She'll draw a winner for a $25 gift certificate to Neat & Tangled. Of course you'll also want to leave comments here. At the end of the week one lucky winner will be drawn to receive a 12" Watercolor Paper Deck.
Emily and Taheerah are sharing today. First up, we have Emily:
I choose a 4x6-inch image of gold blossoms as my feature piece. I cut off the arrows from the My Favorite sentiment stamp, heat embossed it in red and then used three different colours of Gansai paints to watercolor the panel.
I clear embossed Falling Hearts on a piece of vellum and die cut it with the speech bubble from Turkey Talk Dies. The scalloped glimmer red cardstock was created with the turkey die from the same set of dies! I sandwiched all the embellishments between some patterned paper, stitched it on to my card and added some enamel triangles to finish.
Hi everyone, Taheerah here! Wow, what a great week of fantastic projects!! These Just Add Watercolor products are amazing and turn you into an artist at the flick of a brush!
I played with one of the pieces from the 8"x8" paper pad, waercolouring it with Distress Inks. So easy to create your own artwork in minutes!
After I heat set the watercolour I die-cut it using the A Lot To Say die, then added a sentiment from Gifts For You before adding it to my white card base, complete with some splatter to carry own the watercolour look! Isn't that flower beautiful?!
Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to check out Julie's post at the Cosmo Cricket blog and we'll see you back here tomorrow.
