Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by. So glad I got to participate in the monthly
Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. I've really been loving the inspiration photos Nichole has been using for the past few months. Would you believe I made this card in 20 minutes? Rarely does that happen for me. I didn't have much of a choice as we are getting ready to leave for a birthday party that is 2 hours away and will be gone all day. Yesterday was my son's birthday so I didn't have much free time this week to put something together, so as usual I waited til the last minute.
Here is the inspiration photo
Here is my take on the photo. I really loved the colors and lines so I tried to incorporate them both into the card, but still keep it CAS. I couldn't really tell if that was a dark gray or a dark taupe brown so I went with gray. Hope you enjoy! Can't wait to get home later and sit down to check out what everyone else has done.

ReplyDeleteWell isn't that the coolest?! I just love how it looks like there is a little net over the hearts with how you stamped them over and behind...like capturing them! The pearls are all just perfectly placed, such a sweeeet card!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination of colours and design. the black lines behind the hearts really draw the eye to that feature. The patterned papers for the hearts was a super idea as well!
