Holiday Baking with Mindy Eggen

Welcome everyone! Mindy Eggen with you today to share a sweet and simple holiday card.

This card is featuring the Holiday Baking stamp set which have you checked out the price on this set??? It's on sale at a huge discount!! It's such a great set to add to your holiday stamp sets. Be sure to check out THIS POST from Danielle on some amazing savings and little shipping delay.

I stamped my images onto Neenah Solar White card stock with a copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut them out with my Gemini Jr.

I die cut out a snowy hill from white card stock and attached to a background created with pattern paper from the Snowy Day Remix Collection.

Next, I just arranged my images onto my snowy hill. They are ready to bake some goodies!

I finished off by stamping a sentiment onto the card front with Versafine Black ink. Quick and simple but oh so sweet!

Moving Wagon with Keeway

Hey there! It's Keeway and sweet card to share with you featuring a combination of several of are darling stamp sets. I especially loved all the different accessories that came from the Ride With Me set and wanted to work in other sets to create a card to send when you 've moved!
I started by stamping images the packed wagon from Ride With Me, the fox from Schoolhouse, and the mouse from Holiday Baking in dark brown hybrid ink and colored them all with copic markers. I then die cut all the images with the coordinating dies for Ride With Me, Schoolhouse, and Holiday Baking.

For my background, I blended Faded Jeansw, Broken China, and Antique Linen distress oxide inks. I stamped the sentiment 'We've Moved' from the Welcome Home stamp set in Versmark ink and heat embossed it in white. While I was browsing through stamps, I noticed that the speech bubble from Square Thoughts fits perfectly around this sentiment! So I stamped it around my sentiment in white pigment ink and then die cut the frame out. I offset it and adhered it to my card with foam tape.

Everything just came together in the making of this card, all from the fact that I just loved that little wagon carrying the lamp, plant, and moving box. Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful day!

Watercoloring on Bristol Paper with Kelly Latevola

Hello Crafters!

Merry Christmas eve!
I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas!
Are you all done or is one last trip to the store needed?
I'll definitely be running out. Whenever I think I'm done there's always that one thing I forgot...

I was inspired to get out the Holiday Baking set because my little peanut and I will be making cookies for Santa tonight. A little last minute?
Maybe, but honestly if we made them earlier Santa wouldn't get any cookies!

I wanted to try watercoloring on Bristol paper. This came about for two reasons. I bought a whole pad back when I wanted to try them with Zig Clean Color Markers and I ran out of watercolor paper.
Maybe Santa will bring me some?

You can see how the card came together in the video below.

What do you think?
If you're a wet on wet watercolorist then I think it'll work fine.
If you're a wet on dry watercolorist stick with the watercolor paper lol

Thank you guys so much for dropping in!
Have a Merry Christmas!

Warmest Wishes with Kay

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the holiday season! I have another wintery Christmas card to share with you using some fun stamps and dies from Neat & Tangled. I mixed several different sets here to create this cute scene! I used Merry Kisses, Wild Ones, Lumberjack Love, Holiday Baking, and Into The Woods.

For the background, I used Smooth Bristol Board and blended some Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles Distress inks, then sprinkled with water and white acrylic paint.  I added a snowy hill at the bottom, and a sentiment from the Merry Kisses stamp set at the top.
All of the images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and adhered with liquid glue. The two little animals and bird in front, I adhered with foam tape for a little dimension.

I added lots of Stickles to the trees, candy cane, present and pudding, but it's hard to tell in the photo. In real life this card sparkles and shines!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Wishing you a wonderful Holiday season!

Kay :)

Christmas baking with Elena

Hi there!

We just wrapped up our annual Christmas cookie exchange party, and I did a ton of baking. I love everything about holiday flavors and smells! This card will be the perfect companion to a tin of cookies for our neighbors.

I used images from Holiday Baking to create the scene - the little mouse handing off a carton of milk is my favorite.

Because the images are small, but I wanted them to take center stage without the bigger bear and bunny found in the set, I placed them onto our Classic Tag 1 shape.

I'm not sure if the card could scream Christmas any more than it does: the red milk carton, the green holly leaves and cake plate, the candy cane striped paper, and the knit green paper on the card-base (that last one is by Lawn Fawn. The lettered patterned paper is by Pinkfresh.)

If you love holiday baking as much as I do, you could give these cookies a try - I made almost 12 dozen of them this past weekend and they are yummy: white chocolate chai snickerdoodles. The only change I made to the recipe was to add some cinnamon to the cookie dough.

♥.

Hello Winter | Nancy Damiano

I'm knee deep in Christmas card stamping these days! Sometimes it's nice to take a break the and create a handful of cards that have a holiday feel without having a specific Christmas sentiment. I combined the words from Hello Winter and a cute snowman from the Get Yeti stamp set to create this look.

The base is red cardstock with a strip of watercolored aqua blue down at the bottom. This was created by using Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers and Broken China. A large square of white cardstock was stamped using the Hello Winter stamp set repeated. The white spots were filled in with snowflakes from the same set. The snowman from the Get Yeti set was colored with Distress Inks and placed over a vellum flag. Lastly, the script sentiment was stamped from the Holiday Baking set in black ink.

The final touch was a sprinkle of clear dew drops to give the card some texture and a snowball effect to go with our theme.

Using multiple stamp sets and focusing on the words of the season, is a great way to make a card with a holiday feel!

Holiday Baking With Debby Hughes

The new Holiday Baking set brings a warm glow to my heart with all the cute baking going on!

I started this card by stamping a bunch of the images from the Holiday Baking set in a Copic friendly black ink, colouring with Copics and then die cutting with their matching dies.

I accented the colouring with Wink Of Stella, white gel pen and glitter pens and then played around with the arrangement of the characters.

Once I'd decided on a setting, I also realised I wanted a few trees, so I stamped, coloured and die cut several trees from the Lumberjack Love set.

To compile the scene I blended Blue Jay, Spring Rain and Twirling Tutu inks over a panel of white card, splattered with paint and Perfect Pearls and then when completely dry I die cut with a rectangle die. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black on the ink-blended panel and added a freehand cut snowy slope from white card.

I layered the characters for my scene over this base and then added the finished panel to a Fog card base.

Thanks for joining me today and I'll see you next time!
