Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! Miriam here today to share a fun watercolored card featuring Origami Map.
I wanted to create the look of one of those maps you see in an atlas. The map image was clear embossed and then I colored it in with Distress Markers. I used two shades of green for the land masses: Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss, blending them with a water brush.
I also used a very light application of Stormy Sky for the water.
Once the watercoloring was complete, I removed the embossing with some printer paper and an iron, and then stamped the sentiment in Versafine.
Quick post today, there's lots going on as we're getting ready for Neat & Tangled July Release Week next week. We think you're going to love it, and if you stop by later in the week, word on the street is there will be some sneaks to be seen.... ;)
Miriam, the coloring on this is FABulous...gorgeous card!
