Today I am SO excited to let you know that we have a new illustrator joining us at Neat and Tangled. Her name is Cynthia Renard and she is just the most amazing girl! Her fun, positive, whimsical style always puts a smile on my face. She is so incredibly talented! You MUST visit her Instagram account and website. She does the most adorable custom artwork you've ever seen - I'm thinking of getting a portrait of our family done for Christmas! Here is a little about Cynthia:
I believe that the best thing in arts is its imperfections.
Art, or any piece created lovingly by hand, is a reflection of the heart and soul of the artist and it clearly speaks of her individuality, and even these flaws and imperfections that define her as a human being.
I developed a style which allows me to produce illustrations that are brimming with love and happiness. Everything has a unique touch of girliness and a sweet collection of femininity. My work is characteristically fun, clean, sweet...

I am an admirer of colored images but alas! I never was very good at coloring even in kindergarten! LOL. I love Cynthia's clean whimsical style and Joni's tag is breathtaking.

ReplyDeleteShe is so darling and the drawing is incredible to have created these. I don't colour my images at all. I wish I could but I can't afford Copics etc. I might have a go with some colour pencils and sometimes I will watercolour but don't have many paint colours or watercolour cardstock/paper.

ReplyDeleteSanta Girl is absolutely adorable! And I love all of the samples created by the DT and your special guests!!! I do enjoy coloring, but really need to practice more. As such I usually end up using a combination of coloring and paper piecing.
