Seasonal Placecards

Hi there!!

It's almost time for the silly season to descend upon us, so I thought it was appropriate to think about a placecard project.

The placecard I'm showing you today would work for Christmas or Thanksgiving, (or any time of year really). You could easily make it lean more towards one or the other by adding additional elements if you wanted to.

here's a shot from the other side, so you can see the pop of red from behind :)

This was surprisingly easy, for such a cool effect.

To start with I stamped the pinecones and the boughs/branches with Memento Ink in Cottage Ivy and Northern Pine (for the branches) Toffee Crunch and Rich Cocoa (for the pinecones) .

Next I used my Memory Box Parker lower case alphabet dies to diecut the name :)

I then adhered the panel onto a piece of Bazzill cardstock in Lollipop (dark red), next I popped the diecut letters up onto dimensional adhesive (hello cutting like crazy to get pieces small enough!) I made sure to keep all the little insert parts (like from the centres of the letter a and e), and adhered them flat on the cardbase.

To add a final touch, I added some Stickles to the letters :)

You could easily add more christmassy touches like baubles or a christmassy sentiment beneath the name, or make it more Thanksgiving-geared by adding a thank you sentiment :)

That's it for me!

You could easily make a set of these for an upcoming holiday dinner or even as a gift, in well under an hour. This one only took me around 5-10 minutes!

Hope this has inspired you to create some lovely placecards for your holiday table!

See you again soon!
