YCU + Annoucement :)

Hi Friends!

I'm here today with a fun card and a fun announcement.

I am happy to share that I am joining the Design Team over at Young Crafters Unite!  I couldn't have been more happy when Britta and Marie asked me to join :) I love all the ladies on the team, and am such a fan of their challenges, so I hope you will join in the fun with me.  If you aren't familiar with this challenge blog you must check it out!

The challenge this week is No Coloring Allowed...
The sponsor is the always wonderful Simon Says Stamp

The beauty about stamping is that you can always paper piece to get color! Since we just went to the beach, I had summer on my brain. To answer your question before you ask, I'm not sure of the exact names of the patterned paper because they came in a Studio Calico kit. And I hand wrote the sentiment...I've been doing that more often just because often times I don't have the phrase I want, or my alphabet sets are too large/small for what I'm looking for. Plus, it's a nice personal touch.

I hope you enjoy, and thanks to all the ladies at YCU for welcoming me to their team :)

  1. congrats and such a FAB card!!!

  2. Super duper cute and congratulations! :)

  3. Yay! Congrats! I love the clothesline on the card! And if I had your handwriting, I'd 1) start a stamp line & 2) write my own sentiments as well! And save on biting stamps!!

  4. Congrats on your DT news :0)
Love the gorgeous colours you used for the images and I wish I had lovely handwriting like yours....I never have the sentiment I need either :0)
