You Are My Sunshine

Hello friends!

Danielle here with a sunny card to brighten your day!  It's always nice to have some happy, encouraging cards on hand, and this one is simple to create!

For this card I used the solid tree images from our Scandinavian Prints Christmas set to create the sun. I started by finding the center of the card and making a small dot with a pencil. I then stamped the tree repeatedly, alternating the color and placement. Next I stamped the sentiment from our My Sunshine set, and then added some stitched lines with my white gel pen.  To finish I added some sequins to the center of my rays and called it a day!

You Are My Sunshine

Hello friends!

Danielle here sharing a card I made using My Sunshine, one of the new sets from our July release. I love how this set lends itself so easily to creating cards with a bold sentiment as the focal point!

For this card I watercolored some yellow and orange in no particular order, just randomly on the paper.  While that dried I stamped the sentiment and peeking sun in Versamark on some vellum, and then used black embossing powder to heat emboss it.  Once my watercolor panel was dry I lightly attached the vellum square with the sentiment to the front, and stitched across the top a few times.  I finished it off with some enamel dots, and then attached it to my card base!

July 2015 Release Day 2: Introducing Life is Beautiful + My Sunshine

Hello friends! Welcome to our July 2015 release week! We are so excited to have you join us. We have LOADS of fun, inspiration, and giveaways for you!
