Merry Little Christmas

Hello, dear readers!

Today I want to share a card using the pretty Christmas tree from Merry Little Christmas stamp set, I also used the Merry Little Christmas coordinating dies.

I had much fun coloring this tree with watercolor brush pens! To add some sparkles to the garland, I covered it with Stickles and also covered decorations with Glossy accents.
For my background  I decided to create a newspaper look using a really sweet sentiment from Happy Ornaments stamp set  and accented the panel with Bokeh Vellum Circles (Soft and Lovely). I adore these tiny vellum pieces as they always add just the right special touch.

The sentiment is also from a Merry Little Christmas stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed today's post.

I also have a question for you.  I'm planning to start making videos for my future posts.  What kind of videos you would like to see?  Maybe you want to see some particular products or techniques? Please let me know in comments below!

Thank you!

A Blog Named Hero Week - Day 4

We're on Day 4 of our collaboration week with A Blog Named Hero.

They are showcasing projects created with Neat & Tangled stamps all week and we're playing along with their current challenge, Metallics.

Today it's Rachel and Amandine's turns to share.  First up is Rachel:

I'm so happy to be joining in with the lovely ladies over at A Blog Named Hero this week for the metallics challenge. A 'metallics' challenge is the perfect opportunity to pull out some Bokeh Vellum Circles: Soft & Lovely. These gold & ivory circles are heavenly!

I created a simple one layer card using rows of these circles, which I messily stitched in place. I wasn't too careful about alternating the color or size, I just went for it! I did leave the rows varying lengths, however, to create some interest across the card front. The sentiment, from Faceted, is heat embossed in gold. The sentiments in this set are perfect for a metallics theme and work so well with the Bokeh Vellum Circles.

And from Amandine:

Hello everyone!  For me, when I hear the word metallic, I do not know why, but I always think of triangles!  This is what inspired me to make today's card.  In addition, I find that the Tiny Triangles set is just perfect to create a nice background full of sweetness with gold embossing on a yellow background.

I just needed a few embellishments to create a simple but effective card.  The sentiment is from the Paper Cut Flowers set.

What do you think? And I'd love to know what comes to mind when you think 'metallic.'

Thanks to Rachel and Amandine for sharing today.  Don't forget to stop by A Blog Named Hero to see how their team is utilizing Neat & Tangled stamps!

A Blog Named Hero Week - Day 3

Hey everyone!  We're already over half-way through our collaboration week with A Blog Named Hero.

They are showcasing projects created with Neat & Tangled stamps and we're playing along with their current challenge, Metallics.

First up today is Sveta:

Hello everyone!

This days I'm thinking about my abroad friends more often, miss them very much! So my idea was to create a card showing that I'm thinking of them no matter where they are.

I choose Origami Map Die and gold cardstock to create main focus of my card. To pin my location (more or less) on the map I used tiny heart from Hand Stitched Dies and inserted a little piece of silver foiled cardstock.

We're all communicating via web, so I decided to show it with lines using  Across the Card stamp set.

Finally, I chose Crystal Clear Sequins to add accents to my work.

I hope that you'll always be connected with all your friends and relatives in your hearts, no matter if you are together or apart!

Yana is also sharing today:

I started working on this card by creating a small rectangle using new Neat & Tangled Bokeh circles. I selected Soft and Lovely and adhered them onto a piece of white cardstock using specialty adhesive sheets. To trim off the edges I used a Stitched Rectangle die and cut this piece onto a nice rectangle and foam mounted it onto a white A2 card base.

I also die cut a Hello word out of Gold Mirror cardstock, heat embossed a "you make life sparkle" in gold embossing powder and adhered those onto the rectangle. To dress up this card I also added several enamel dots in blue and two gold hearts created using Hand Stitched dies.

Beautiful cards ladies!

Please be sure to stop by A Blog Named Hero, they have got some gorgeous projects to share this week too!
