Watercolor Dreams

Hello Neat & Tangled Friends!
Today I have a simple watercolor card that I made using the new Dreams stamp (free with all orders place in August) and some new distress markers.
I heat embossed the image in white embossing powder on watercolor paper then colored a rainbow of distress marker colors across it. I used my water brush to blend the colors and create the watercolor effect. I wanted to do a white on white kind of card but since my cardstock is bright white and the watercolor paper is not as bright the contrast between the two against each other bothered me a bit. So I used some pale yellow cardstock to create a very thin mat to separate the two white that didn't quite match. I used N&T satin pearl sequins to embellish and some sparkle from my Wink of Stella pen around the word "dreams" and in the banner. Unfortunately it was hard to capture the sparkle in my photo but it is very nice in person. This is my new favorite way to add glitter, very subtle and pretty.
Thanks for visiting today!
