Getting Started Guide Week 2: Tooling Around

Hey Friends,

Sorry for my lack of blogging this week. It's been a bit of a rough week for me personally. Without going into much detail I please ask for you to keep my sister, grandmother, and a close friend in your thoughts in prayers.

I did sneak away for a bit this week to film a video and clean my craft room up. Needed to give my mind a break, and do something I love!  So without further ado here is video 2 in the Getting Started Series.  Today is all about the essential tools you will need to work with your paper and whip it into something beautiful :o) Don't forget to scroll past the video for a card!

I'm not even going to pretend the card is something new.  It's an oldie but a goodie that utilized a bunch of the tools I'm showing you today.  The butterfly was stamped, colored, and cut out using my Cutter Bee scissors. The purple strip and "you" were both die cut using my Big Shot. The corner was rounded using my Corner Chomper.  Just like last week, all the things I showed you (plus a few extras) are shown as thumbnail images at the bottom of this post.

  2. Thanks for sharing on the tools. I'm glad most of my research went well when I was buying the tools since most of them were recommended in your video. Off to get myself a T ruler coz I'm bad at lining up stuffs.

Love that beautiful card and will be keeping your family in my prayers.
