When he decided to 'go green' and save us money by getting a bike (which actually ended up costing us quite a bit), he realized he needed something to carry his work clothes in. He found a backpack for $5 somewhere. Great deal! Too bad it's like infant sized. Here is a picture of something very similar to the actual backpack.
Ok ok, his isn't so juvenille, but you get the idea. It's just too small for a grown man. Sadly, the Hubs tiny backpack has seen the end of its days (somehow it's all sorts of ripped up and I'm really just afraid to ask). Enter CSN.
For those of you unfamiliar with CSN it's a great company with over 200 websites you can shop. I swear you can find anything you need! I thought it would be funny to get the Hubs a new little back pack (as a joke, sort of) for Christmas, so I perused CSN's selection of children's backpacks, and I think I found the perfect one!
(There is a whole other story that goes with the shark, but again for another day)
CSN was kind enough to let me do a giveaway for a $20 Gift Certificate to ANY of their 200+ Stores! Just in time for the holidays too, so you could use it to pick up a gift for someone or a little something for yourself!
(CSN Stores ships only to the US and Canada. International shipping charges may apply for Canadian addresses.)
TO ENTER:
To enter to win the $20 Gift Certificate all you need to do is leave a comment. Tell me, will you use this to treat yourself or someone else?
For an extra chance to win, mention this giveaway on your blog, and leave me a separate comment with the link to your post.
I'll choose the winner at random on November 23rd!
Myself, myself! JK. I'd give it to my son. But actually I just wanted to say that your story cracked me up, LOL! would have loved to see your hubby's backpack.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea! I would definitely use this giveaway for a Christmas gift. Love your story - my husband rode his bicycle to work for several years as well - 15-20 km (10 -12 miles) each way. He used large bicycle paniers, but the 'wee' back sack sounds like a great look!
ReplyDeleteI guess I dont really the location of where he works b/c for some reason riding a bike to his work seems SOOO far!! lol!! I would use it prob on Hayleebug! Dont forget to pick me!! lol
ReplyDeleteHa! That's hilarious about your husband's mini backpack. I love the one you've picked out. My 7-year-old Elliott loves sharks, and my brother Jeremy is a shark diver so this is right up our alley.
ReplyDeleteAs for the giveaway, I'd use it for one of my kids, I'm sure. We're actually going to Germany for Christmas because my father-in-law isn't doing well (he has heart trouble) and we want to see him one more time before it's too late. So because of that, money is tight, so I've been squirreling away whatever I can to make this Christmas as happy and memorable as I possibly can. :o) Thanks for the chance to win a great prize!
I just linked up your giveaway over at my blog, plus gave you a shout-out. Hope I was able to send over some traffic for ya! One for all, and all for one, right? ;o)

Too funny about your husband's biking and mini backpack! I would use this giveaway to buy a gift for each of my two granddaughters.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great giveaway! Funny story too - men?!? I'd use mine for my son (if I won of course). That little shark is totally adorable! He love bags to put all of his awesome little finds...pokemon cards...rocks, etc in. He would 100% positively ADORE this!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I'd use it for myself! I never buy myself anything!
